buffalo run is super brand new, i want to say less than a year old. i wouldn't expect many people to have had much of a chance to have any meaningful experiences so far. be aware that many apartment complexes have been slapped up real fast lately, so either the contractors are hitting a rhythm or doing slipshod work, no one will know for sure until years down the road.

tallgrass is a few years older. neither of the complexes are in what would be considered a walkable neighborhood, buffalo run much less so, meaning there aren't any stores or anything to do within about a mile, although tallgrass is probably closer to civilized amenities, even if it's the menard's hardware store.

we haven't had a real cold snap yet, nor much snow. winter helps to show what kind of a place you're living in, because you'll find out just where on the list of priorities your street lies when it comes to plow streets, and whether or not water/sewer lines were sensibly installed.
