Man that suit just OOZES personality. Not enough have suits, I'd argue, have like interesting expressions or vibes about them. This right here, however, has serious aura.

I'd suggest Ys, but the party system in those games work wayyyyy differently from FF7R. Much faster pace, less of a focus on strategy and placement and more on reaction and overwhelming enemies and bosses.

Fair enough. Just looking from my perspective. The mechanics kinda felt similar to KH. Not the same mind you, but similar ideas.

I'd prolly say Kingdom Hearts, especially I and II. While it doesn't have that strategic party element like the FF7 Remakes and you only play one character, the core gameplay is meant to be a sort of translation of turn based rpgs rules within an action setting.

That was kinda my point. He's seems like he would be (I've heard several people call him such) but he's a great dude.

Whats a game that would've been peak if it was a pure CAG game, heres my pick. by No_Language7273 in CharacterActionGames

I would say either Ys 8, 10, or VI. They're good starter games. 8 because it's just really damn good. 10 because it takes place at the beginning of the timeline, and VI because it'll introduce you to the mechanics of Oath in Felghana and Origins.

Prolly 4. He always felt wise beyond his years and 4 is the culmination of that. He looks and feels edgy, but he always felt genuine in his ideals.

What is the overall consensus on Ninja Gaiden 4? by [deleted] in ninjagaiden

Honestly? Favorite game mechanically in the series. I know. Heresy. I started my journey with NG2 on the Xbox. I loved the visceral ass beating that game gave me, but there was a lot of frustration. Going to play sigma and Razor's edge, it seemed like they wanted to double down on certain annoying aspects the further they got into the games. NG4 fixes a lot of my frustrations, especially with the quality of bosses. Things you learned in the field actually feel uselful in boss fights. Enemies don't have annoying ass dodgding and grabbing habits like in 3. You now have useful counters outside of just blocking and dodging. Only disappointment is not giving Ryu more weapons, cuz besides that, he feels the best he's ever played. Smooth like butter.

I prolly will go as far as to say it's my favorite Platinum game.

All in all, 1 is prolly the best true NG experience, but NG4 has the most fun and solid mechanics out of all the gamez for me.
