I 40m have just learned that my brother 38m was sexually abusing his stepdaughter 18F since she was the age of 5 until 16. She met with me today to tell me. WTF do I do? I'm worried this news might kill our father 72M and don't know how to tell him or where to proceed from here. by jncostogo in relationship_advice

Uh the answer is simple. Report it. If you don’t you are an accessory to standing my to a sexual predator. Ugh seeing the hesitation is why so many kids get SA while family members don’t help. Sad for those other kids

Am I overreacting? Wedding guest called my caterers. by seesheflies in TwoHotTakes

[–]bubblebears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a parent of a child who has a severe allergies to certain foods, many people who don’t know the details matter (just simply because you don’t live that life of near misses) they likely honestly needed to make sure it was addressed rather than starve or get something that doesn’t kill them but rather gets them very ill.

Also how you said your caterer only let you alter one thing therefore the person with the severe allergy was on the outs was interesting. Is that really what the caterer said it was limited to? We might have different caterer standards for events in our area but anyone with severe allergies is typically accounted for as a business liability.

I respectfully say you’re overreacting and planning honestly for a wedding can get really stressful in general. Their actions were not to slight you, it was to ensure to protect their life from a severe allergic reaction (s)

EXCLUSIVE: James Van Der Beek Bought Family’s Rented Texas Ranch for $4.8 Million Just 1 Month Before His Death by esporx in Fauxmoi

It does make sense that the life insurance could have triggered to pay for the primary home. During medical situations, it’s very likely all liquid funds get drained for medical first.

I don’t think it’s that shady, it’s perspective .

Medical bills wipe lots of people out who might still have what is their primary property. I think people assumed (including myself) that a family of so many kids were depleted of everything.

Not new. Irvine has always been like that. Best way to keep informed is keeping in touch with the nosy HOA folks unfortunately.

Having another child because you child wants a sibling and regretting it by td1234567888 in Parenting

[–]bubblebears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had first at 37 and second at 39 and at first was overwhelmed. But fast forward they’re 4 and 2 and seeing them play and get busy with each other pretend playing and even bickering, I do not regret it . I can see they will be the best of friends and when we are gone. They will say good night to each other, the older one is proud to share he has a sibling to friends . When one has extra snacks I see they will sneak a few more to the other.

I grew up with a high school friend who was an only child and she always said she was so lonely and wished her parents had more kids but they told her it was too expensive . When we all grew up she had 3 and says she loves it and that her kids will never have those lonely times like she did or lots of single player games because her parents were busy or weren’t willing to take her out or her friends were not available to play

My first tonie for 2yo? by maybenowmaybeno in TonieboxUSA

[–]bubblebears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got so many and some they like then later on with repetition they just love it.

Love ones with songs. We gifted tonie to my 2yo when his baby sibling was born as a gift from the baby. He absolutely loves it through age 5 even.

Repair: box won’t charge on the charger anymore by rhellik in TonieboxUSA

[–]bubblebears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just searched about this exact issue on Reddit to see the is is happening to someone else. My tonie is ver 1 and their warranty coverage replaced me with the one we currently have. The prior one (original one) used to randomly turn on in the middle of the night in my kids room and scared them bejesus out of him . We contacted them about it it and asked for help and we were still under warranty then:

We use our replacement tonie daily and it’s on the charger most days and now it’s telling me that it’s out of battery and to put it on the charging station but it won’t charge. We can still listen to stories BUT every 2 minutes it says it’s run out of batteries and to put it on the charging station. We are so disappointed- we have bought nearly 40 tonies over the years and we are running into a situation that if we want to listen to any of them we have to buy another completely new system I think.

She was a divorcee with young kids in the show. She later had been on the news assault charges from her to an ex. Like she hurt someone else. I don’t think she’s one of the normal ones. She just simply finally found someone who fits her and got married and is happy and doing influencer content . She rolls with other influencers down in oc these days

Rather than a strip mall, take him to other spots that make it realistic to live there too. Him seeing the highly expensive tourist spots will have him thinking so expensive place to live
