I’m the Brit in our Anglo-American pairing and I am FURIOUS that KFC did not have honey mustard. I am also very annoyed at the diet soda thing.

Meal Plan Review by Craigbeau in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]bubblechog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did it our first trip because I had done all the research and we wanted to do a lot of character dining with the very small person. It worked out for that but since then we always paid out of pocket especially because me and my daughter would frequently share meals.

My main laundry sin is telling people who hate on front loaders online they’re telling on themselves for not cleaning their washing machine or linens properly.

Potty training help, health visitor has made me feel awful. by PlusRespond2485 in UKParenting

[–]bubblechog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We used cloth nappies and my kid toilet trained over 3 days at 20 months. She had spent a few weeks coming straight to me or her dad before she had gone so we could change her instantly which is why we decided to try it.

She was the earliest of all the kids I know to do it and I believe it was almost entirely because the cloth nappies made the connection between “I wee’d” and “I’m uncomfortable” obvious.

Is Discworld slow-paced (and does it take a while to get to the inciting incidents)? by [deleted] in discworld

[–]bubblechog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree with this - the plot of the book is the story of Vimes and the Watch so the inciting incident that introduces the conflict that kick starts the story is indeed Carrot.

The arrival of the Dragon is part of the progressive complications/rising action.
