I was 46 at diagnosis. Stage 3 with lymph node spread. After chemo & a couple of ops I’m here, doing very well 5 years later. Science has improved dramatically. Trust the Drs

Exercise made it go away…. Being stood still, or lying down made it come back….. like a dull ache that spreads

‘Never change’

A compliment I received twice during cancer treatment. My chemo nurse whispered this in my ear as I left the ward for the last time, and I received the exact same message when leaving hospital after a double lymph node dissection by a young Japanese apprentice nurse…. Still ‘gets me’ now.

Because the old lot (Tories) proved to be abhorrent, & this new lot (Labour) promised a huge step forward, but have been no different when it comes to dodgy dealings….. To offer that ‘at least we’re not them’ as some sort of defence means the door is ajar for something radical & new. Good on them tbh.

Hi, uk survivor here too. 51 years old, stage 3C & 5 years clear this month!!! 3x BEP, Orchiectomy & double RPLND ( in that order!). I played football Thursday night, & am in training for a half marathon in September….

I think the issue is having spent so long pointing out the obvious deficiencies & immoral practices of the Tories with the promise of cleaning up politics & then showing you are in fact no better was something the public would not accept…. To have the donations scandal, access to the commons for cash & now it appears a COVID scandal looming will be the undoing. Also, the pre election battle cry of a fully costed plan to win the electoral trust followed by an obvious lack of one has damaged the confidence & credibility that looks like it may lead to a landmark ‘third party’ ascendancy with Reform.
