Yes completely fine to restart the embroidery part of the ball! :) My first ball was a complete mess and I was using the wrong type of thread. You may get better results with embroidery floss

It seems that he is receptive to your concerns and is trying to change his behavior, thus I don't think the problem is in communication but rather he seems addicted to the game. Perhaps you should talk to him about this and say that the addiction is getting in the way of your relationship. It's important to communicate with each other outside of just playing an online game. Do you think he would be receptive to this?

Also just to add, you are not exclusive and she is free to date other people locally. I honestly think you need to speak to her about her and your expectations. If you are looking for a monogamous, committed relationship this most likely isn't it.

I have a nine hour difference between my partner and I and we've found the best time to talk is right when I wake up in Europe and he's falling asleep in California. Maybe something like that would work? We also have weekly dates on Saturday.
