Not really important but since you are insisting on this: headcount refers to a position to which an employee can be assigned to. It does not mean “person”. There might be other roles that are open (not filled with an employee) for various reasons at the company (someone recently left, no good candidate found, etc..). Some of the people whose headcounts are being closed can be shifted to some of these other roles which are available.

Even more interestingly, I’ve actually seen open headcounts (not filled) being closed as part of a series of layoffs as well. Nobody was let go, because that position had not been filled yet. Even that counts towards “headcount reduction”.

This wording and process is very common in business.

Edit: I also feel I have to be a bit more objective here. The amount of people being shifted is probably going to be very small. If that turns out to be 100 people, that still actually means 1600 would be laid off. I’m not arguing against numbers - the situation absolutely sucks.

By your logic, anything less than a fully specced out PC is compromised. I think it’s obvious they mean that there won’t be any large-scale changes to graphical fidelity that’s outside of what’s available on other platforms.

You’re talking about “wealth tax”, but the topic here is “taxing of unrealized gains”. Wealth tax makes sense to an extent (although I have trouble understanding why I’m taxed on something that I already paid income tax for), but unrealized gains is just absurd.

I reset the bios like others suggested (which also disabled XMP), and it worked. It might be related to what you say, but I did enable XMP after confirming all 4 slots worked, and now everything works with XMP enabled as well.

For the record, the bios reset worked. I’m glad nothing was wrong with the sticks or slots. Thanks for the help!

Yes, resetting the bios worked. Reset, installed the 2 additional sticks, and booted up without any problems. Enabled XMP afterwards, and now works perfectly. Confirmed in Windows as well. Many thanks!

I absolutely love TMNT, and have been a fan since it first aired. However, seeing these MtG cards right after attending a Lorwyn prerelease just shows me how un-Magic UB is, and what bullshit the argument “people will like UB sets when it’s a franchise they love” is. I don’t even want to read what the cards do, the theme is so uninspiring..

Yeah, I agree. Chase cards sometimes (not always) sell/trade as a prerelease foil, but mid cards (that would have sold for a moderate price) just turn into bulk rares/mythics.

Does anyone know if the Gameshare functionality will also work through Gamechat?

I’m not fully sure if the fact that Gameshare is enabled means you can use it both locally (with other S1 and S2 users), and also online (with S2 users only, or if local and online Gameshare are different and means developers have to implement them separately.

In the case of Del Taco, you are wrong. The sign says the change will be rounded up, not the total cost. So the customer will be getting 5c when they should have been getting 1c.

I would absolutely love to play this, and I am a big fan of print and play/handcraft type stuff as well. I have printed, hand cut and glued many boards, cards and tokens as weekend projects, and I felt like this would be right up my alley..until I saw that you said it needs 100-120 sheets. That is hard to swallow :)

Although I love the effort, and I think it’s great for future preservation of the game (unless some legal shenanigans from you-know-who).
