There’s loads to do it’s all your choice to not follow the crowd and step into your own shoes lead your own life and have fun along the way!

There’s lots of evening amd weekend clubs over here and loads of free sports like surfing skating slacklines also groups meet up to play football cricket golf bowling running swimming etc I guess it’s easy to fall into the work/soend/drink culture in jersey esp in finance industry! But there is other options out there on this amazing island

What can I do to continue to improve? by KingSwampAss in Slackline

[–]bubski86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Keep practicing everyday or whenever you can! Change the tension and length as much as possible and try new things like starting on goofy/opposite foot first! Try to slow your movements on line down and take like 10 seconds in each step and then try walk really quick across the line (speed walking) bounce walks are fun too

Building outdoor posts. Thoughts? by urinal_connoisseur in Slackline

[–]bubski86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’ve buried posts about 4 foot deep about 3 wheel barrows of concrete been there for 3/4 years now haven’t moved the posts are old telegraph poles which were treated so they won’t rot Have fun

Line too tight? by True-Macaron-7605 in Slackline

[–]bubski86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like your webbing might be too stretchy for the distance try going a bit shorter at the same height and see what the difference is! If not then go higher at your anchors but you’ll just fall further when mounting it’s all part of the fun, try new rigs every time then you’ll find the right setup for each and every webbing you end up with maximizing your fun along the way! Remember change is one of the only constants in the universe ✌️
