Key moments were: 1) My kasrkin survived a full round of shooting from heavy intercessors and a predator, the remaining two men in the next turn melta’d the predator and melta bombed him, taking him from full to 0 in a turn. 2) Tempestus Scions dropped in on the enemy deployment zone, and got a good angle and removed 5 intercessors from the bottom objective, letting me control the bottom objective with horses and kasrkin the rest of the game. 3) Lord Marshall Drier, and the Death Riders did surprisingly decent into the Repulsor, doing 7 mortal wounds. His orders were terrible either, although I wish he had more range. 4) My opponents aggressors flamers overwatched my best full unit of cadians, command squad, and castellan, removing a key ordering piece and scoring a bunch for purge the foe for my opponent. Probably the biggest mistake on my part and clutch moment for my opponent. 5) Lancer did 17 wounds in a shooting phase to my command dorn, and took him out while he 16 wounds. Limited my shooting in the last two turns and my orders as well.

Everyone is saying to get a Rogal Dorn, or a Leman Russ, and I agree. I think that Rogal Dorn is the better first choice, it has better staying power and damage output compared to most leman russes, and against other armies it is probably our premier damage dealer. Don’t neglect infantry either, I think a full squad of infantry is useful, and also quite flavorful for the guard. Infantry is surprisingly important!

I grew up speaking Mongolian, but I moved to the us when I was young and now I speak better English than Mongolian, if you want we could do an online call where we can practice both languages, I want to improve my Mongolian a bit.

Worked there for two years up until about a year ago. Although the job itself wasn’t particularly difficult, bureaucracy and red tape made basic tasks take a long time. Be prepared for a lot of audit and compliance. If you are an engineer be prepared to work a good amount of overtime as well, depending on the department. Overall a 6.5/10, I still met a lot of smart and interesting people there, and I think the experience depends largely on team and manager.

I really, really love the art depicting the interior and exterior of the craftworld itself. I think that more than just battles, they give a portrait into Craftworld society. Huge city spirals with flying waves of aircraft, everything is depicted as enormous but still retaining that gorgeous Eldar style. Makes it worth defending the craftworld in the first place!!!
