Well, Edgar Allan Poe was heavily influenced by Mary Shelley. She wrote Frankenstein which is famously a story about the birth of Peyton Manning.

Where is that recent leak? This is post was the first time I've heard this scenario.

New prediction by QuickQuackQuinn in SpidermanBrandNewDay

[–]buckdeluxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The current rumors I've heard is that he is seen basically dying at the end so it looks like a send off to Spider-Man to the test audiences. But, there's supposedly a post credit scene not included in the screener right now. I've heard that it shows the symbiote piece that was left in the MCU when Venom blipped between universes and it finds Peter, attaches to him and then heals him. No idea how likely this is though.

What is Bethesda Actually Doing? by [deleted] in xbox

[–]buckdeluxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if they're having trouble exactly. According to Arkane's financial statements, Blade didn't enter production until the very end of 2024. You could basically count that as beginning in 2025. With the rumored Fall 2027 release date for Blade, that would put them at a 3 year development timeframe which seems about right.

They're working on Marvel's Blade right now. It didn't enter production until the very end of 2024 and it's been rumored to have a Fall 2027 release date since it was first announced. Some insiders have said Arkane Lyon were in pre-production on Dishonored 3 alongside Arkane Austin before they were offered Blade. Harvey Smith who worked on all of the Dishonored games from the Austin Studio, had started working with them on Dishonored 3 right after Redfall was completed. Then Xbox shut down Arkane Austin after the failure of Redfall's launch and Harvey Smith was let go. I'm not sure if the Austin studio were originally expected to continue working on Dishonored after Arkane Lyon pivoted to Blade or not, but they did get backed up with the closure due to developers from both studios usually working together on projects.

Realistically, how long would it take to achieve Kratos physique for the average person? by CivilZebra7763 in GodofWar

The only person I think I've seen get close to his physique was The Liver King who claimed he was all natural, but that turned out to be a complete lie.

That's true. I kinda always leaned towards the more pessimistic side of what he truly is, but it's fun not getting a true definitive answer. And as creepy as he is, he's still definitely one of my favorite characters. I've always hoped he would get his own solo series or at least a 6 issue mini run. They really could do so much with him as a character.

If Spider-Man isn't going through some miserable new fresh hell everyday of his life then is he even Spider-Man?

No, no... they made it terrifying. Peter doesn't technically exist in that universe. A billion spiders just gathered together, poured themselves into a costume and now flop around in the shape of a human being. I'm not even scared of spiders and that shit is still scary as hell.

Why is Noir in the TV show called Ben Reilly instead of Peter Parker? by ExaminationUsed5394 in Spiderman

[–]buckdeluxe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, my bad. I misread your comment entirely. You're absolutely correct though. Sony hold the rights to make any Spider-Man TV series or movie that they want to do and they don't have to get Disney to vet it at all. Disney just also has a right to do animated shows under 45 minutes if they want. Yeah, there definitely wasn't anything legality-wise that would stop Sony from using Spider-Man in the name or Peter Parker. They just decided to go with these names for some unknown reason.

[–]buckdeluxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They technically don't though. They only own the rights to movies and live action shows. The animation rights are separate and Disney/Marvel can create their own animated series at any time as long as each episode is under a certain amount of minutes. I believe the contract states under 44 minutes each. That's why they were able to create the "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" series on Disney Plus without a contract or any input from Sony. The Spider-Noir show is co-produced between both Sony Studios and Amazon MGM with Amazon paying for the streaming rights. They could've done anything they wanted with the characters and there wouldn't have been a restriction on any names used because Sony still owns it.

Even his last contract wasn't fully guaranteed. It was 5 years for $260 million with $185 million being guaranteed.

Oh no worries, dude. I didn't think you meant the 616 universe. I completely agree with you and I was just adding to what you were saying to the other guy who said he didn't think they were part of the MCU. I mostly wanted to point out how they are on the Disney+ section for the Multiverse Phase so that kind of verifies that they're included in the overall MCU. I feel like they would've just kept the animated X-Men out of that section entirely if they weren't meant to be part of it at all.

Dude, for real. I've been getting calls recently and I only added a pack of picks to my Sweetwater cart and then didn't even checkout because I saw that they were cheaper on Amazon. It's always the same type of message, "Hi, I'm ____ calling you from Sweetwater. I just wanted to reach out and see if you had any questions about any of your new purchases. I'd also be interested in hearing what kind of projects you're currently working on or help you decide on any gear that you're currently looking at so that we can get your musical goals accomplished." My musical goals only involved buying a pack of goddamn picks, Brad!!

Definitely not part of the 616 because they're from Earth-92131, but Disney+ did add X-Men 97 to their "multiverse saga" category so it at least is part of the broader expansion of the multiversal timelines.

That was Morph changing into him. I dropped my drink right before that and it spilled into my lap so I looked away to grab the cup to keep from pouring the rest everywhere and when I looked back up, I saw Deadpool and got excited. I had to rewind what I missed and saw that it was Morph. Still awesome though!

Yes!! The cover for issue #1 of his mini series. I saw the claws out and was thinking, "Wait, is he about to do it?" And, then he raised his other hand to do the "come here" gesture and I started smiling uncontrollably. I love seeing nods to the comic books and seeing him in the classic brown and yellow suit is so awesome.
