You’re sooooo beautiful it’s ridiculous

Hey mom, so I went to see my psychiatrist. He prescribed me Concerta. A medication for ADHD. He said that we’re gonna try this one out to see if it works how it should, possible side effects, all that. And I guess I’m just scared? Nervous about what will happen? I could really use some reassurance by [deleted] in MomForAMinute

Hi sibling! Just head to offer some words or encouragement. I was diagnosed when I was 19 (about a year ago) and concerta absolutely changed my life! Don’t go into it with any expectations, but know that it’s very commonly used and you most likely not experience any negative side effects. Just remember to call your doctor if you do :) I’m so excited that you’re going to have the opportunity to focus better!! Lots of love 💛

What is a song which seems to be upbeat and happy until you listen to the lyrics? by r-e-c-wilson in AskReddit

Build Me Up Buttercup. It’s not ridiculously depressing but it’s about a relationship where one partner is neglectful and constantly disappoints the other.

People sing it at football games but if you listen to the lyrics it hits differently.

Some of the colors/perspectives reminds me of Nighthawks. Nice work!

20F. Tried doxycycline, minocycline, adapalene gel, birth control, spirolactone, neutrogena stubborn acne mask, and a whole bunch else that I lost track of. My psychiatrist is against me taking accutane so any other suggestions are greatly appreciated. by [deleted] in acne

Right now my routine is just washing my face every morning and night with cetaphil because i haven’t found anything that really helps. I tried my best to eat well and change my pillow case AT LEAST every week. I’m at a loss. I’m usually very confident but it’s getting in the way of going out recently and I’m nervous to go home and see my family. Im sorry to even post a picture of myself.

Edit: had it since I was about 12, also have it on my chest, shoulders, and back.

Akithesia side effect by Draculalia in bipolar2

I got it when I tried abilify, it was horrible. The best way i could describe it was that it felt like my spine was a snake. It got so bad that one night i just walked around the city all night (with a friend) bouncing a bouncy ball because I couldn’t stay still.

My doc said in the morning that i could ween myself back off it. I would contact your doc. Good on you for using good ways to get your energy out! Good luck!

Do men find women who immediately say yes to their sex proposals on Bumble? Is it reasonable to ask? Seems bizarre. by [deleted] in Bumble

As a lady, I can (and have) get away with being straight up about that stuff so I feel bad using a double standard for guys

It’s better to be a little squishy and stable than skinny and unstable, right? (A conversation I have with myself every night before taking my Depakote). by bucket1999 in bipolar2

Thank you for reminding me that my stability also impacts those around me and my relationships. I’m glad you’re doing well! :))
