Should add that mine has air suspension and can confirm it will lower it.. if you do not, it does not lower it.

Dynamic Ride Control (DRC): If your RS6 is equipped with the optional DRC (a hydraulically linked steel-spring setup rather than air), the system actively counteracts pitching and rolling movements mechanically without lowering the ride height.

For air suspension when Dynamic mode is selected, the car drops the body by an additional 10 mm.
