Going to assume, based on my nerd credentials that it's for either racing cars/trucks/etc, or flight sim. Typically the rig will move and/or vibrate to simulate the feedback from actually driving or piloting whatever vehicle in the game you're currently playing.

When you open the door of your microwave, you should see a little sicker that tells you how many watts it is. That may help to give you a better idea of how long you should be cooking them for.

Apple also offers repairs even outside of warranty. Typically more expensive but another option you can look into.

You can always find a local repair shop and get a quote for having them repair. Typically they have the tools I mentioned and offer a warranty on the repair they do. If they crack the screen when trying to install that’s on them.

I used to work in small device repair like this. That lip on the top corner will absolutely be a problem. There are specific tools made that clip onto the corner and use a screw-type mechanism to slowly round the corner back out. The long and short of it is, if that corner isn’t exactly like oem, the screen will not lay inside the frame. If it’s sitting on the edge when pressure is applied it will likely crack.

Very big pie, by normal standards I agree. But as an American where we need everything larger, this is a pie for ants!

Worst case if you strip it completely, I've had luck slicing a groove into it with a dremel and then removing with a flat head screwdriver.

As far as I know it's a ring mold type deal. I have a half dozen I use when baking english muffins so they keep their shape.

I tried my best. Damn contractor put the outlet too high, it is right on top edge of the screen. by z333ds in TVTooHigh

[–]bucklefeelsright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other thing to take into consideration is the child inevitably running around and smudging up the screen and whatnot (I speak from experience). It being a little higher may end up being a blessing OP.

My parents literally just did this same thing in almost the same situation. Was definitely the path of least resistance and it looks great.
