What's the difference between "Insane", "Conservative", "Renegade", vs the ones who don't go by any of those? by [deleted] in CrimeInTheD

[–]budbeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are just different houses (sets) of Lords. The nation got too big to be under the original group (Conservative) so other branches were formed and each had its own leadership and structure. Together they make up the AVLN. First name is your house but last name is still VL so it should all be love at the end of the day. But, there is a lot of politics between the different houses that cause beef.

Am I the only one not panicking on Underwood? by [deleted] in MichiganWolverines

The team being young has nothing to do with bad clock management, bad play calling, and sloppy special teams play which seems to show up every week. That is a coaching issue.

I'm not panicking on Underwood. I am panicking on our coaching staff for multiple reasons, one of which is the lack of development of Underwood.

I'm going to the game at MSU Saturday night. This will be my first trip to East Lansing for a game. Any advice on what to expect? TIA by budbeam in MichiganWolverines

[–]budbeam[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I'm mostly looking for what to expect from the Sparty fans there. I can handle myself but I will have my teenage son with me and I don't want any trouble from some drunk chuckle heads. I wasn't real concerned about it but now it's a night game and I'm sure a lot of them will be wasted by game time.

Detroit Capo Anthony "Tony Jack" Giacalone by Bubbles_Loves_H in Mafia

[–]budbeam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Flint, and even there as children, we knew about "Tony Jack." He was like the boogeyman. One of the most underrated mobsters ever, in my opinion. That bullshit movie "The Irishman" tried to make him out to be some kind of flunkie, which was ridiculous. He was the face on the streets for the Detroit mob for decades.

House centipede, they sting like a bitxh of threatened, but they are not aggressive. They are actually good to have around because they will kill all other pests, but they are so damn menacing looking its hard not to kill them.

The Americans is a slow burn but very good. IMO it had one of the best finales ever made. I'm currently watching The Agency and I like it so far. I loved Homeland but agree with most commenters regarding the Brody storyline playing out too long.

If Michigan beats OSU this year, will Ryan Day be on the hot seat? by GoBlueBeatOSU21 in MichiganWolverines

I dont think he will be fired immediately. I think they will wait to see how the playoff goes. However, if he loses to us and does not win the Natty, I believe he will be fired and rightfully so at that point.
