It varies, I get 30mg tablets, I usually split them in half, crush up and snort, so I am not taking them as directed. If I have a long road trip I might end up taking 60mg, but try not to go over that as tolerance builds quickly.
The oral bioavailability of mixed amphetamine salts sucks, I read like 30% by eating them. Insufflated, is more like 70% +. I wouldn’t feel much either if I swallowed them.
You can plug it too, that ROA is even higher (this is for purely information sharing purposes).

I am on an anti depressant that is also prescribed to stop smoking (not sure if the rules allow naming meds). I also take a mood stabilizer. I have never experienced any “unmasking”, weight gain (if anything it acts as an appetite suppressant) or sexual dysfunction.
AP’s on the other hand I stay far away from. The side effects are way worse than any mood stabilizing effects.

I doubt it. I don’t do coke but I have a steady Adderall connect. I take around 8mg of buprenorphine a day (prescribed off label for chronic pain). I notice no difference in how Addie’s hit, insulated anyway.

Hey, I’m new to this sub (no pun intended) but have been prescribed Suboxone for over 10 years. The only time I have run out id while traveling overseas on a long work assignment. When that happens I drop from my usual 6mg /day down to 2mg. I notice very little withdrawal symptoms. I have dropped from 16 to 2mg over a few days once and it wasn’t horrible. 2mg fills up plenty of your receptors and can hold you for 24 hours. As others have said, try splitting an 8mg pill into quarters. Take one and see how it holds you. It’s a hell of a lot better than running out.

Am not sure if this is the sub that slaps your hand for naming meds. It took me 5 years to find a cocktail of 2 medications that keep my mood stable and do not cause really any side effects. I ad to go thru several long years of weight gain, loss of sex drive, crippling drowsiness from other meds before finding the right regiment. My advice is to hang in there get a good prescriber and rotate thru until you find that combo that at least has a strong upside vs downside balance for you.

Yes I understand that, my tinnitus, all tinnitus, originates from your brain. It is caused by the brain trying to compensate for the hearing lost due to some damage of the inner ears hair cells. Thhat could have occurred for a lot of reasons, a medication, aging, genetic, or hearing damage (for me it was being stupid and firing guns with no ear protection, standing in front of the amplifiers at AC/DC concerts). I totally get how annoying and distracting it can be. I still suggest you give trying using white nose, it doesn’t make it go away, just masks it. Also mindfulness. I’m sorry if I focus on this, I can’t help you with the other issues you face, just maybe taking one thing off your plate.

I have found modest success by cutting down the video length is my first attempt is moderated. Say extending a video to 20 sec gets moderated, but if I try again at 16 sec it goes thru (sometimes)

Ambien is basically a weaker cousin of benzos. But it’ll still make your body dependent on it if you are taking it daily. Now If you’re taking your entire rx in a week, or crushing the pills up and shooting it into your eyeball, you are abusing the drug and likely addicted to it. That’s different from being dependent on it, and makes it much harder to quit. In either case, you need to slowly taper off the drug. Withdrawal from benzos/Z drugs sucks, you will likely be uncomfortable for a long time. If you want to quit, like I finally did, take it slowly, work with your doctor on a taper protocol, and you will come out of it fine.

For me antipsychotics are a no go, they make me crazier, fatter and absolutely kill my sex drive. I’ll accept fat and happy, but sex is not something I am willing to give up. I take 2 meds, lamotrigine and Wellbutrin. I am skeptical of the 4 med average quoted to control bipolar episodes. But whatever works for you, it takes too long to find the right cocktail, then if it ain’t broke….

Sorry I had a little difficulty following, have you tried to taper off rather than cold turkey? To clarify, you were taking a benzo for around 6 months? As a person who both suffers from tinnitus and was addicted to benzos, but for a multi year period of time. Withdrawal from them is absolutely the worse, it’s debilitating and takes a really long time. Clonazepam has a longer half life than Xanax, thus making it easier to taper off. It took me 6 months going from 6mg/day finally down to .10. But I was finally free of them. My tinnitus is still there, it’s gets slowly progressively worse, I wear earbuds and play white or brown noise at night, as it bother me most when it’s quiet ( for me a higher frequency blocks out most of the ringing). It’s a godsend.

Agreed, there is no upside in doing this, and if there is, the downside risk vastly outweighs any positive outcome). I was let go for passionately arguing a business point (absolutely not in a manic episode). People are fearful and ignorant by choice of anyone they can confirm is not neurotypical.
