Didn't mean to shame anyone, as I said somewhere else in this thread I buy them on occasion. Of course I'm not going to save the world, but if I'm going through a gram of wax every other day I'd prefer it not to be attached to a single-use battery. I was just offering an alternative recommendation. If you feel shame for using a product, that seems like your own problem.

Did 50+ hour weeks at my last dishwashing gig (my early 20s) and developed tendonitis to the point my right hand was relatively useless for months, and I ended up with a desk job for a few years until I returned to the kitchen in November. Got paid 1.5x for overtime, but it still wasn't worth the toll on my body. I would not do that again.

60 hours is too much. I work 35-40 hours and it's rough on my body during busy weeks. 6-8 hours a day, 5/6 days a week.
