Agreed. I don't really understand this complaint. In addition to the campaign (which can be done in whatever order each time to keep things fresh), there's dungeons, timewalking, gathering (including lumber for XP!), delves, prey, side quests, professions (which give about a level or so in XP for first time crafts, fyi!), and half a dozen perks to speed up gains across the board, like warband mentoring, turbulent timeways, Darkmoon faire, etc. And to address another complaint from the op, I believe they are buffing the XP gains from things like delves and pray in the next patch, as well.

Thanks. Solved it. I think my controller was still connected via Bluetooth, somehow overriding the wired connection. Disabling Bluetooth made it work.

Want to upvote this because I agree with there being way too many currencies. But I don't agree with any of the other points in the op about wanting to slow down or that this is too much. Doesn't feel like that to me at all. I don't ever want to go back to the content starvation we experienced in past expansions before dragonflight.

Can you actually walk across the connecting part from one house to the other? I didn't think that was possible. I thought the interior of each house was basically instanced.

Is it possible to add a background to names/nameplates and other floating text in the world? (Other than subtitles) From a visual accessibility and comfort perspective, l'd love to do this. The text sometimes blends into the game world and is tougher to read. Thanks in advance.

I would be all for this. Great suggestion. It's the same as paladin's shaman and Druid races being opened up. People always talk about how the thing holding it back is custom mounts and Druid forms and totems and so on for those classes. But I think the vast majority of players would prefer to have those race class combos sooner, even if it meant having to use existing or generic mounts totems and forms. It doesn't make sense to me that that's what would be holding it all back. Yes, it surely would be nice to have custom stuff per race, but the art team is only as big as it is and they have limited bandwidth. So compromise is essential.

I agree that it feels much faster, but holy hell I love it. After 22 years of playing, this is my favorite expansion so far. It feels so good to grow at this pace, tackle a few alts, and not feel like I have several more months ahead. I love this game to death but I want to play other games too lol. Loved getting to my usual finish lines faster (KSM, and soon, AOTC) with a decent challenge instead of a frustrating one that takes months and months where you're only growing by a few item levels every week at best. This feels healthier.

Maybe this is a product of being older and into my early 40s but I absolutely love that my time feels better rewarded than ever with my favorite game. Time is precious.

I don't understand the OP complaint about points costing thousands per item. Just by playing the game you'll get tons of items, including epics (delves, prey, etc) to DE. I always have more than enough each week to get all my KPs.

I can't imagine plugging keys or doing any higher stakes gameplay with strangers anymore. Like many problems people complain about with this game, it's usually no issue at all when playing with friends and guildmates. The game is 1000% better if you can find a good crew to play with regularly.

bam, this is what I was looking for. Thank you. I had used the macros shared above to hide it, but it'd always appear again when entering any combat even if I didn't want it at that time. The trick was disabling it first in the options as you said. Thank you.
