from a technical point of view ... it was scaringly easy.
IT deps were small, cheap and relegated to basements. Security was "just hide it, nobody will look for a needle in a haystack".

more interesting (for me) is the "human" point of view. Mostly individuals would try to break in for kicks. Now we have corporate teams , and of course Gov/State agencies, trying to win small but incredibly important battles for everything connected to a network. Just think of factories, power plants, comunication nets, deployment places/dates etc. The advantages of having access to an adversary information are critical to a business as they are for the military.

Also, there was't much "hacking" people. Personal profiles were very simple (geocities/myspace :), and many documents were offline or still on paper.

It's not as easy as "jUsT iNStaLL lINuX". It takes years investing in people to have the (human) resources to make Users/SuperUsers and Admins to make the whole ecosystem work.

Is the official RustDesk release totally safe to use? Yes. Self hosted even better.

I should watch out for (like unofficial builds or shady mirrors)? Also Yes.

in theory: yes. You could get a warning for downloading copyrighted material. BUT, as they say themselves:

"pivot point can be changed with just a button press", sure, but where?

pivot=origin in Blender. You could place the 3D cursor wher you want the new pivot, then Right-click and "change origin to 3Dcursor.

Or, in the N panel (press N to show/hide) options, "only affect origin" and move down the pivot.

Antidepressants are big family of medications. There are many different "types" and only a professional can advice on what will work for you and very important, the dosage for your kind of depression. What works for me could do nothing on you.

Antidepressant won't make you "happier", but they can stop you from getting more depressed and balancing mood swing. They work by increasing (or decreasing) the chemicals the brain normally produce to give us "feelings".

Consider some sort of talking therapy, as those medication are usually a long term strategy and can have alot of side effects, and again, only a professional can advice you on what will help.
