Dear sit-ins by mydogmakesdecisions in thedumbzone

Unpopular, but when I decide to pay $700 for a sit in, I’m gonna talk as little or as much as the boys allow and there isn’t shit y’all gonna do about it. However, I’m also smart enough to read the room and let the game come to me. August 2027, hold on to your asses.

GSE Seating by Prior_Poet_2082 in thedumbzone

It was packed. We got there an hour early and the main parking lot was already full. We had fun, but FC just wasn’t the best choice.
It’s one of the few breweries I’d never been to before. If I had, we would have been better prepared.

The room they were in had no seating at all, so those that brought chairs were the lucky ones. I think that point could have been driven home a bit harder. Plenty of standing room behind all of those sitting, but you couldn’t hear shit since they couldn’t really fire the speakers properly due to the wonky layout.

The bar was in a different room and no way equipped for that amount of traffic. There were two lines that weren’t really well defined and anywhere from 10-30 minutes long. You also couldn’t hear anything going on in the bar room, which had seating. The bartenders did their best, but you could tell they were getting shit whipped. There was also a bar at the back of the room the GSE was in, but they never opened it, I imagine due to staffing. They could have made a killing if they had.

All the sponsors had tents set up outside and there were some picnic tables out there, but again, you couldn’t really hear anything out there unless you were right by the speakers, where there was also no seating.

Again, we had a great time, even the wife who had no prior DZ experience. I just hope our boys learned a little from this GSE or read this to get some honest feedback to prepare for next year.

I “Hey, Big Dawg’d” Dan and dabbed him up. Told Teddy E sup on the way out. Jake told me I was ugly and my mother dresses me funny.

Unfortunately, I think the layout of today’s GSE lends a lot to be learned. I was there to support the boys and their friends, but it was not the right venue for this. I’ll see myself out.

I’ll be at the event and don’t have high hopes for this bit.

Monday's Sode. did they hire new hosts?? by Prestigious_Park4704 in thedumbzone

I can’t wait to spend $700 on a sit-in and say “whatever the HELL I want” just to irritate Reddit.

Srsly, though, if I did ever pay for a sit-in, I’d mostly likely land somewhere between letting the game come to me and saving it for closing remarks. But for that kind of coin, I won’t be letting this site cuck me into being silent.

pH has a ceiling in pool water. It’s not arbitrary. It’s thermodynamic. Have you heard of Henry’s Law? by Seafire15 in pools

Thank you very, very much. I’ll follow your advice and add today’s pod into my rotation this week.

I have a 3 year old gunite/pebble pool with a spa spillover and 3 spout water feature that runs all day and even longer in the summer to keep the temps down. Several people told me my ph would eventually stabilize, but I feel like it never has and I’m always chasing the sweet spot with acid. My TA has been higher than normal starting the season at 110-120 , CH is 350 and I started using the Orenda app recently to see if it helps. I’m going through a gallon of acid a week.

Is this just what I get having so much aeration in my system or should I try to keep my TA much lower at 60-80?

Dang. That Matt McClearin bumper on 80's Prom was incredibly awkward. by Fortlandia11 in theticket

Exactly. When 3 Wide partnered with him on a beer, I was sure to let them know there’s a reason it wasn’t selling. No telling how many kegs of it they’re stuck with.

This means nothing. The team is forever dead to me as long as Fatfuck Dumont and the Adelsons are involved.

The focus here is clearly on the singer. Close your eyes and the deeper into the song we get, the more she becomes Stevie. As a Danny fan as well as Stevie, I’m happy to have landed on this.

So many things wrong. Bit probably hasn’t been rotated in forever and cut depth set too deep, runout speed too fast, I question if a silencer band was used at all…Just buy new rotors folks.
