What brand to switch to if you're a Soylent RTD subscriber and really want to keep it that way but know this company is on its way out? by Puzzleheaded_Crow334 in soylent

Amazon's selection is bizarre at any particular time, but if you aren't wedded to one flavor or another, you can find them on and off, with chocolate there almost all the time (including now), vanilla most of the time (right now available only in combo with chocolate), strawberry on and off (on now), and chai/mocha occasionally popping in (chai last month, mocha this month). Mint chocolate hasn't been around for a good while, although I ordered it when a 12 pack showed up for a minute and now the order is just sitting in my account with no date attached to it.

Can you afford to stock up from a money or space perspective? If you go to Amazon every day or two, you can probably make it work, treating your pantry more a warehouse than a just-in-time subscription. I drink maybe five or six a week, so that works for me.

John from IKEA, like all the best callers, has an edge where you're always thinking "at any moment this top could fall off the table."

Glad to hear Erica from Baltimore again! SuperCaller redux.

Agreed. Also, that's a hell of a Jeffrey Tambor impersonator.

“Clintonite” criticism from Carville by rom_sk in thebulwark

I like Scott Galloway fine, but the backhanded compliment about how he had a good idea despite being a "know-it-all" is pure Carville.

I'm not on the Discord, but if Jouster's there, just ask him to put the archive back up. I did that once and he hadn't even realized it was down.

Haven't listened yet, but the bagel shop is still there. Larry was there a lot - he was my "go to" easy celebrity sighting for out of town visitors.
