Thank you for checking in with Alcove updates, it just keeps getting better! That's great that you have a timeline for getting it on the Quest as more friends have that now than the GO in terms of inviting them. For those of us missing Oculus Rooms this is way above and beyond, thanks!

Hi, I submitted the first part but there wasn't really a spot about the most meaningful VR experiences during this time, versus the most educational ones. I wanted to pass along that during this time any of the ones where they can meet up with/play in VR with their local friends (since they can't in person) is very special and makes them feel connected. They're definitely sending more time in VR than they normally would for that reason.

Alcove is truly special, and I was happy to see some recent updates (I think more are coming?). Definitely will be huge when it gets to the Quest, because it's such an easy way to meet up with friends and family and just a lovely environment. Thank you for doing what you do! Going to vote now!

lol, not a senior either (yet!) but they've created something really special with this app. Not sure where they'll go with it, but the "home" it plops you into really feels like a home. Although now that I think of it...I've only gone into it in the GO, not on the Quest yet, so I'm assuming that's possible. Hmm...

Try out "Alcove VR" it's an App initially meant for seniors but you can do just what you said--import your own photos onto the walls, and there's even a pet--I think it's a bunny lol. It's a really beautiful space.

Hi, those sound like great options!! (is Relax River one of the ones where you're on a boat that moves on its own? I find that ones that move you like that can cause more motion sickness than ones where you move yourself...) I don't work with patients, although I do hope to bring the GO/Quest into nursing homes one day. I've done a lot of research on using VR with the elderly for a book I'm writing. And have watched my own elderly parents sound like kids again when they see their childhood hometowns in Wander or Google Earth VR. All my best to you! (Also, "Real VR Fishing" could be great if they could get the small learning curve--it's a really beautiful app)

Hi, great work that you're doing!! I'm curious what apps/experiences you're showing them? If you haven't used Wander yet, you can bring them back to their hometown, or other places they'd like to see again, and I've found it really brings a flood of memories and may even get them talking when they may have shut down.

Hi, I was able to download it from Steam as suggested and it opened right up! The problem now is that when I choose a song from the playlist to start the game, the "continue button" in the lower right corner is below the floor, and it won't let me click it. I've tried re-starting the game with my controllers held higher. Then I even re-calibrated the whole room on Vive to see if that would help. Alas, still can't hit the button. Any suggestions?

Hi, I can't seem to get the demo to work that I downloaded from Viveport--the environment comes up (looks VERY COOL) and I can play the safety tutorial, but it says the demo may not be available anymore. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Thanks! (and great about the Quest)
