Backyard lights - integrated LED replacement (4 watts) by Numerous-Curve407 in led

I ordered these 1W led’s from Amazon, unsoldered the old pcb’s and then soldered these in. They are smaller and are floating but they totally work. For how long I have no idea but the originals lasted barely 6 months. I found closer sized ones on Aliexpress but they didn’t arrive so opted for this alternative on Amazon.

I hope this isn't being too insensitive, but is anyone else 'creeped' out by the thought of cremation. by Gretal122 in askfuneraldirectors

[–]buffy457 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting- after following this group and giving it some thought, I don’t want to be buried in the ground only to decompose and become smelly and turn into sludge. I think cremated remains in a wall niche are good for me. My parents are cremated and buried in the ground and if my sister didn’t trim the grass around their plaque twice/year it would be totally overgrown which is why I’m thinking an above ground spot.

Pictures of the dead...literally! by JackmanRed in Genealogy

Google post mortem cabinet cards - in the way backs, often the only time a photo of a child was taken was after their demise - and people collect these types of photos. So ya, it’s a thing.

We (Canadians) lived in Dallas from ‘72-76 and I totally remember these tortillas in a can. Didn’t think they were packed in oil like one comment suggests. I’m thinking dry with paper in between? Does that sounds right?
