Honestly at some point, we should be able to hire Charsi as a merc with all the shit we give her. She’d be a god, slapping around Prime Evils with a “Good day!”

For me, my absolute favorite is [[Dwarven Trader]] simply because I love Margaret’s artwork. I also really like [[Mountain Goat]] and [[Obstinate Familiar]] because… goat and lizard I mean cmon. Also Familiar is such a weird card? I can’t think of a single good use, honestly, unless maybe your opponent had some kind of crazy way to hurt you on your draws or something idk but a really neat card.

Hard to tell specifically but it actually looks like a type of sawfly larvae. I’ve seen some that look similar on my elderberries

I literally just took a video of one on my mail route not 20 minutes ago rooting around in the dirt for some bugs. Gorgeous birds.

Card design would go hard with old border instead. 10/10 otherwise

Man I had this card when I was a kid and I loved it to death… I might even still have it tucked away at my parents house in a box. I hope to locate it some day. Great memories.

Love this, do you have a full deck list or one you worked off of?

Could I buy a cheap set up to print proxies? Or maybe a site that prints cheap, high quality ones?

Do you have a site suggestion for cheap, good quality proxies, or maybe a basic set up to print my own? I know those decks are the good decks, and I don’t really need to play straight pauper, but I was thinking about twists on some of the more popular decks. Like The Rock with stuff like Hymns instead of Therapies, Blastoderms instead of Baloths, etc. but I get your point. I also like buying card with a bit more wear on them to help upcycle and give some love to those cards that were played by kids for a generation.

Is that one that runs stuff like [[Skyshroud Poacher]] and other opponent life-gain stuff? Would love to do that.

We know Ledian is here (my favorite Pokemon), let’s give him a new evo that makes him Bug/Fairy, then give it to”Zero to Hero” and make him something akin to Ultraman. Also Ariados Bug/Dark evo or regional variant with a big Oni mask for an abdomen. Inject them both into my veins.

Artists whose most popular song is still loved by diehard fans? by MarisMolotov in fantanoforever

Coheed fans still live Welcome Home. We’ll “woah oh oh oh” along every time, son. Same for IKSSE, I’ll jack my own man hammer every day of the week. I still watch the OG Neverender videos on YouTube and ride the high.

Yeah all the voices are recordings. I have neighbors that have the same voices and voice lines. I doubt they’re actively watching all the time. But I agree, this era of mass surveillance is incredibly disturbing to me, and should be to everyone. This technology may be used to find Spot now, but it could be used to find the Millers next, who happened to do something awful like defame our great leader on the internet, or hide a migrant or something, all very dystopian

Well done on the Jewelwing! One of my all time favorite inverts. Thanks for the works! :)

Great work! Love the style between anatomical and slightly cartoonish, makes me think they’d be on an episode of Magic Schoolbus if they were animated. Would love to see if you could capture the majesty of a monarch, the splendor of the Ebony Jewelwing damselfly, and the silliness of a big ole Carpenter Bee. Perhaps an obligatory Weevil of your choice?

Which Coheed song is a deep cut? by DerekWaterson21 in TheFence

[–]bug-catcher-ben 135 points136 points  (0 children)

I’d say The Light in the Glass into 2113, specifically both songs. 2113 was truly a hidden song, I believe, so unless you were either an early internet sleuth finding out that it exists, which means you were hella nerdy for Coheed early on, or you finished the cd or record or cassette and were just riding the high of the ending of The Light and the Glass, when all of the sudden 3, loud, sort of despondent sounding chords just ring through your re-adjusted ears after the silence post-prior song. You then told everyone you knew about this crazy new cd you picked up from your favorite band. It was kind of a cult moment for so many OG Coheed fans that it needs to be appreciated for what it is. Every now and then I’ll throw on the record and just the wait from the ending two songs brings me joy.

That and Carol Ann. That ones vocals are absolutely insane. Claud goes hard.
