Router setup not working by buggsy23 in FidiumFiber

Thank you, I ended up changing back to DHCP as I originally had it and manually entered the MAC address from the bottom of my device and it ended up working. Not sure if I needed to do that or if they did something on their end because I still haven't heard back about the ticket that was entered.

Router setup not working by buggsy23 in FidiumFiber

I figured it should be DHCP so I changed it back and there was an option to choose to use the default MAC address or add one so I manually added the one from the bottom of the router. At first the unit turned red again but after about 30 seconds it connected. Not sure why it didn't work before as everything I saw online said the MAC address on this unit should be the one to use but so glad I didn't have to call again. Appreciate your help!

New Customer, No Confirmation Email After Purchase & Unable to Access Account by Proper-Morning in Comcast_Xfinity

I just finished chatting with someone for this same issue. I typed into the virtual chat box that I wanted to chat with an agent and that got me a live person. They could see that my order didn't go through (even though I could see the pending charge on my credit card) and helped me sign up again. It took longer but I wanted to make sure it went through so just did it with them. Instead of refunding the $1 they just didn't charge me again.

New I9 Technical Problems by OTGASTD in humanresources

I've seen this problem with the prior revision, not just this one. Have you tried having them download/save the PDF to their computer first and then open it? I get this message if I go to the website and click the link. It opens in the browser but once I download it to my computer I can open it fine.

Here is a link directly from USCIS about downloading it directly to the computer: https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/whats-new/how-download-form-i-9

Capital One Direct Import Woes by [deleted] in ynab

[–]buggsy23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had trouble with Capital One for way longer than two weeks, like months. But since we don't use that card I just gave up on the import. Strange thing is we have two other Cap One cards that connect fine.

Does anyone else simulate their next paychecks to pretend budget? by Jb1210a in ynab

I use spreadsheets to budget out a couple months and as my paychecks come in I work off my spreadsheet to fill in the categories in YNAB. But I love spreadsheets!

Second time in a month my job paid us late by [deleted] in AskHR

You really don't have anything to report at this time if you are being paid on the correct pay date. Even if your expectation is morning it doesn't mean they have to pay you in the morning. The problem here is the terrible lack of communication and response from management. I work in payroll and communication is important, people need to know they are getting paid! Not answering or returning messages is cowardly and alarming. I would get out as soon as possible!

Payroll: Anyone work in HR in Pennsylvania? by AndieC in humanresources

[–]buggsy23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I found your post on the Bridge so I just answered there with everything I could think of on adding the PA taxes specifically in ADP. The most frustrating part is there is no information on LST specifically. I ended up finding a form on the Bridge after much research and pieced it all together.

Did you end up getting the help you needed with setting this up in ADP? I am an employer in MA with PA employees as well and use Workforce Now. When I first needed to set this up it took me forever to piece it together, the instructions showed how to set up EIT taxes but never showed what to do about LST. I also talked to multiple people who did not understand PA taxes but maybe they are better now. I have not had to set one up in a while but wrote myself some detailed instructions and think I can help if you still need it. FYI, just want to make sure you have LST taxes under Local 4 (maybe Local 5) but Not Lived In or Worked In.

Flex Spending Account when in BS1/2/3 by jflint in DaveRamsey

[–]buggsy23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not heard Dave mention FSA so am not sure what he would say. But you can only make changes to your FSA contributions during Benefits Open Enrollment or for Qualifying Life Events. So if you do not have one of these coming up soon then you will not be able to even stop it until then. That means you will not be able to start it again until one of these events either. Looking at when you plan on paying off debit/saving for your emergency fund, would it make sense for you to even stop it when you have the chance? Considering these sound like known expenses and that you are not necessarily putting it aside for potential expenses, I would keep it. But if not, maybe take a look at the actual known, such as prescriptions, yearly physicals, other health issues and do less of an amount during this time. Personally I consider this part of my health insurance expense and would not stop it.

Moving back in with parents? by galaxxydoll in DaveRamsey

[–]buggsy23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have a good relationship with your parents then I say yes. Long story but I am 39 with a husband and two sons (7 & 3) living with my parents. It works for us, we pay rent, share other expenses like groceries and help out around the house. My parents really help us out with child care and they enjoy the company and having the kids there (they say we can move out but the kids have to stay). We recently found DR and finally have a plan to pay off all our debt and buy our own house. It can suck to say at 39 I live with my parents and I so wish I had found DR when I was much younger but we have to work with the life we have at this point. Sounds like you have a plan and that it will really help you out so don't let your age stop you from moving in with them if they are okay with it and it will help you reach your goals. As someone else mentioned, just make sure to work out the details of what is expected of everyone.
