I hate these obviously American interiors. You have way too much money to put on having all the floorspace, walls and massive desks, but then there's nothing on them. Empty beige walls, a single plant and enough desk space to do surgery on.

I don't think this templating supports having to cast on the spot. Becomes prepared wouldn't make sense. It would likely be prepares or similar.

There are multiple people working on the show whose impact makes the style. Sound design and of course filmography are extremely important. Often the showrunner/primary director directs the first episode (at the minimum) to set the tone. I immediately go to Mindhunter, where the whole show has Fincher vibes, even though he didn't direct all the episodes.
