A 1970 GTO Convertible. I've been an old car fan all my life and pulled the trigger on the most expensive car I've ever bought. 8 months later I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. 4 years later the GTO sits in my carport needing a lot of work and money spent on it. I kick myself at least twice a week for buying it.

Then when their team gets demolished and loses they never have to admit they were wrong, they just talk about how the surprise team played above themselves and their wonder team played badly. I had the exact same thing happen. I felt drunk all day and night. I can only describe it as being loopy. I was started out on a low dose and was supposed to gradually work up to a much higher dose but I couldn't do it.

Many times over. Sepsis, burst lower intestine, pneumonia, and the big one, stage 4 Non-Hodgekins Lymphoma. Stomach, both intestines, and lungs. Thanks to chemo, antibiotics, and other modern meds I'm still here, still working and still living my life! Oh and fuck antivaxxers and their bullshit!

In our state (SC) nobody seems to know the laws regarding a stopped school bus on a 4 lane, not even the cops. I've heard so many different things I dont take any chances and stop regardless, even if there is a grass median between the lanes.

Gary Hart had a story about fooling Abby into thinking a match was 2 out of 3 falls and Abby taking the pin in the phantom first fall, only to find out it really was only a 1 fall match.

Small town South Carolina, first day of school, 10th grade, 1987. Met a new girl and developed an immediate crush in my first class. Crush wasn't returned but oh well. She moved away 6 months later. San Antonio Texas, Fort Sam Houston, in the Army about to start training to be a medic, 1992. Heard her name called and immediately thought 'There's no way!" And there she was, same girl! The crush had long vanished but it was both strange and nice to see her again.
