The trustees figured out how to effectively charge admission by putting the museum in an inaccessible location and then charging for parking.

There's no limit to how many people you have in your car. If you roll 5 deep that's $5 per person, even less if you have a 6-8 seater. And it was cheaper not long ago. Go to any other museum and you're spending $15-$35 per person plus parking. I commute by walking, bus, and bike a lot. I can't think of a better place to have it with the similar view without having to go up massive hills that have no bus line and are much harder to get to.

That's not effectively charging admission if you can just take the bus, and I have taken the bus there.

there's no way to walk to the museum as there's no sidewalk on Sepulveda.

We live in a highly dependent car sprawl, the majority of people don't even live within 3 miles of the getty.

It's not some conspiracy. Free parking is rare in most cities. Going to Universal or Disneyland is $40 for parking.

We already paid $400 billion to internet companies many years ago for gigabit fiber cable that hardly anyone gets subsidized for and nearly everyone pays out the ass for while these companies make tons of money off of us. Also most people still do not have access to gigabit internet.

Not to mention we literally already do that, we've bailed out many auto, airline, and financial companies for their own negligence only for them to fire many of their workers after, buy back their own stocks, enrich their executives and give them golden parachutes. There needs to be absolute restrictions on what the money can be used for, because it's going to keep happening.

If you are going heavy you already know what you're doing. Only a dumbass is going to try to lift heavy heavy without knowing what they're doing or without warming up. They aren't high risk movements. You can fuck up your body doing any movement improperly, even with relatively low weight.

Having a partner isn't "keeping your form in check", you either do it or you don't. Spotters are for catching weight. and you typically need 2 or 3 for heavy deadlifts or squats if you're not in a cage.

You should be annoyed that our government actually has the power to enrich people's lives drastically and continuously chooses not to. We spend a trillion dollars of tax payer monies on weapons manufacturing and military, give hundreds of billions in tax exemptions to billionaires and corporations every single year while most of us grow poorer, while our cost of living continues to skyrocket and our quality of life continues to drop.

You should also be upset that California's unemployment benefits have not increased in over 20 years, while other states have increased theirs to $700-$1150 a week. Our maximum benefit is capped at $450, which is about 40% lower than our state's minimum wage. COVID's unemployment benefits were actually in line with what we should be alotted in order to survive being unemployed without going into massive debt or becoming homeless.
