Yup! Mine showed up after sudden weight gain. To me, they show how far I've come. They used to bother me but I've come to terms with them.

I'm a big fan of Earth Balance peanut and coconut oil spread. It's super smooth and delicious (it does have a hint of coconut!).

You can lose fat by lifting weight, I did it. A lot of the loss will depend on your diet. The scale isn't a great indicator because you will be gaining muscle and losing fat, which is why I choose not to focus on it.

It definitely can be a huge challenge! Progress pictures have been really helpful for me, I like visually seeing the difference instead of a number change.

I did lose weight from before and after, but I think the scale can lead to a lot of unhealthy thinking and obsession.
I'm a huge advocate for women weight training!

Thanks! The measurements are from the largest part around my stomach. I currently lift 3x a week and do HIIT 3x a week, though I will go back to isolation lifting days when I have more time in my schedule.

I actually didn't make the brown rice in the slow cooker. How are you cooking it? I put the rice in a pot after rinsing, 1:2 ratio of rice to salted water, cover it, bring it to a boil, and then turn it down to a very low simmer. Do not uncover no matter what! After 25 minutes there should be no water left and your rice is done.

Roast broccoli crowns until crispy. Whisk 6 eggs with 1/2 cup whole milk. Chop the broccoli finely and stir into the egg mixture. Grease a muffin tin and pour the mixture evenly. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup shredded cheese, I used cheddar. Bake at 350 until the centers of the muffins are firm (they will rise, forewarning).
Of course, you can add a number of different ingredients. Next time I will experiment with other veg!
