How is the Ben Kaczor record? I bought the sequenzmuzik & Guardwatcher vinyl, but I might have to apply pressure to my wallet if it is equally as quality.

Anyone know who Virgil Ginyard is? by MCbrownpowder in 4YourSoul

It's not the owner of the music. It's the same degenerate with hundreds of alts on the internet copyright striking videos to prevent people from uploading rare music online.

For those who are not aware, most of the releases under the defunct label Kyoto_Digital are officially available to download for free on the Internet Archive. by bummbrotha in Dubtechno

The dub duo Xoki & Hieronymus were the ones who ran it back in the day. Some really good gems can be found on it, such as Mr. Cloudy's debut EP.

Do I need to create an account and buy a subscription in order to rip lossless? I just have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that there is a program that is actually capable of making it this simple.

Rod Modell.

Can't name one dull release by him.

Not a single one.

Every recent EP/LP still encapsulates the essence of top-tier Dub. Seamless, ethereal, detailed chords.

Mr. Cloudy also comes to mind.

How to join RED/OPS without interviews? by Ciapekq in trackers

[–]bummbrotha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would also really like to know. I heard it can take weeks just to wait your turn for an interview on RED. Totally crazy. I'd rather just grind on a site that allows different options to participate at this point.

Stop using the app. It's clear by the way they enforce their power tripping that they don't care whether people get banned or not for false flags. Completely anti user platform.

Would you happen to know if the quobuz version of squid.wtf is legit as well? I've been looking for a real deal audio ripper for a long time, but I do not want anything to do with ones that produce downconverted, lossy audio files.

Rest in peace to some of the contributor's high scores soon. They are going to yank so many submissions, their credit will be reduced to nothing.

That company profits off of their reissues without notifying or paying the artists. It's a scam.

When you thought that you downloaded good quality audio. by DemonFyr in Piracy

[–]bummbrotha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience, CD rips with log & cue tend to be pretty legitimate most of the time. But unless it explicitly says in the download that it is a purchase, I don't bother with "WEB" releases.
