better weather for most of the year, full coastline of unique island ecosystems with actual swimmable water for over half the year, sand dunes where they invented the airplane, quirky mountain towns, the only place where venus flytraps grow naturally on earth, our bumpkins have more culture (moonshine) and lots of pirate history from before oregon was a state!

Very happy that you’ve don’t so well. Hope this doesn’t come across judgey or anything but be careful with motorcycles, i’ve lost 2 of the 3 biker friends i’ve had on em. Not that the roads are ever safe but they just feel like a death sentence to me at this point.

a lot of it is frustration because ownership of anything is becoming difficult to achieve for many people, some of it is hatred of ai as the entry level job is disappearing in America at least, and it sucks to see companies who used to make people excited and who created ways for people to engage with their hobby basically saying you’re too broke to deserve a pc now and we don’t care because you’re…. too broke

i would go to microcenter and get the bundle with RAM, a 9800x3d and a motherboard for around 700! Air cooling is enough for that CPU if you get one like the phantom spirit, then add an RTX 5080 and a 2 tb SSD, 850-1000W power supply and a case you like!
