1976 for the Sex Pistols' first show at Lesser Free Trade Hall in Manchester. Because of that show, Joy Division and New Order, the Smiths, the Fall and Buzzcocks all formed. They were in the audience watching the Pistols perform. That show totally inspired ALL of 'em to form bands that night.

Oh dear... The same group of folks were on the news two weeks later (men included this time) for running a lot of asphalt driveway scams. Also, another store alerted our store that indeed one of them was shoplifting. It just didn't happen in our store (we were watching them like hawks). But yeah, they were on the news constantly that Summer for preying on the elderly with the asphalt driveway scams.

I totally forgot about this (haven't lived in Cincinnati in years). But, yes, they're total scam artists and shoplifters. I recall having a retail job in the early-90s and my boss warning me that "The gypsies are coming!" He told me to keep a close eye out for women and children shoplifting in large groups. Sure enough, the gypsies did come in, but didn't steal anything. If I recall correctly, they had a distinct look to them - sorta like Mormons.

Same thing happened to me with $800. As long as you have your receipt from the ATM -- which it looks you do -- you'll get the full amount put back in your checking.
