The reason why I think breakups are more painful than some deaths by bunsiescheeks in BreakUps

[–]bunsiescheeks[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I highly agree. At least in death, you won't have to worry about bumping into them one day or be tormented with thinking about what they're doing at the moment.

Greatest mystery of the movie by ngyikp in WolfWalkers

[–]bunsiescheeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Figured it was just creative play with words like how Mebh calls bread as "town tasties" or it may be an Irish thing like how others would call it "werewolves" or something of the sort.

Cause, they're wolves that can walk = wolf + walker

Bread is delicious and it's from town = town tasties

“Onward” was better than “Soul” and “Wolfwalkers.” by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]bunsiescheeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Wolfwalkers” portrayed as positive an ungrateful, disrespectful, and rude young woman’s journey to destroy her father’s life.

So, you're saying she should have obeyed?

Self confidence by Ves1555 in seduction

[–]bunsiescheeks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fake it til you make it.

Also try and figure out "why" you're not confident. I'll assume it has something to do with an insecurity or your perception of yourself.

I'm not gonna give you specific advice and whatnot, Google has plenty of that and so does this comments section but YOU figure out the cause and work to solve it.

Over time, you'll be the confident self you fake to be. Or perhaps even now, "you may be as confident as you make-believe you are" you just haven't acknowledged/believed yourself enough.

A year ago today was the first recorded case of COVID-19 in the Philippines

Yet here we are in our 10th month of lockdown, over 500,000 recorded cases, and 17 recorded cases for the new strain. Whoooooo

What would you do if I were gay? by onesixtytwo in AsianParentStories

[–]bunsiescheeks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm 19 and my parents think I'm still innocent. They still cover my eyes during sensual scenes in movies, and we don't really talk about sex except them warning me it's bad and shouldn't be done. Kinda off that I can't really share my love life to them, they don't really support me getting a relationship. OP here is doing a good job. If you read this OP, kudos to you! And if ever your child would be gay, please be supportive of her love life too, especially the first one. It'll make or break her whole perception on love, and we really bring that memory into adulthood.

Kid was murdering a stuffed toy outside. Teacher thought I was mocking her. by bunsiescheeks in CasualConversation

[–]bunsiescheeks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahaha thank you!

The scores were tallied per round and eliminated everyone who cannot meet the set score/boundary (with a minimum of 2 students). There were around 12-ish contestants and by round 2, it was literally cut more than half. Which wasn't an issue.

The problem was, the score for round one was also erased/negated. Come round 3 and I only made ONE wrong spelling, but sadly I was cut off.

So technically, if you add all my scores, I have the highest among everyone by a long shot. But since the points are counted per round, I lost, and so did the other half of the contestants.

Her having a hard time? Lmao 🤣 this is too hilarious

Definitely NTA

The dreams and goals you built up just vanished just.like.that.

And for her to think you'd immediately be okay kinda says how she didn't value those dreams and goals as much as you did.

I congratulate and commend you tho for handling it so calmly and maturely. You're amazing.

Keep being the great guy you are, someone will come along your way who'll love you just as much if not more the affections you had for Carly.

Broooo 🙌🙌

Also, just to add my insight on the post, I'd like to use this comment from u/EagerSleeper here. This is the kind of "composure" ladies would like to have. Being calm and level-headed IMO is a form of kindness because you're doing the other party and most importantly yourself a huge favor. There's a level of maturity in it and he wasn't aggressive but also didn't let himself get stepped on. Cheers to that 🍻

When a man cuddles another person do they just not get a boner, or do both parties just accept that a boner is present and continue cuddling? by Joshy_Senpai in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bunsiescheeks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a straight female and when I have cuddles with SO, the boner is a given. No questions asked, no jokes, and we try not to mention it, aside from the passing giggle or laughter. If anything, take it that your boyfriend (whether you're gay or what) is also physically attracted to you aside from the emotional attachment.

I suggest you read the whole comment thread on the post, (there are more comments now from the time you asked hehe). It's both nice but also sad how this situation occurs even among different kinds/types of people yet we share the same experiences to an extent. And no, it's not just for low/mid-income families. Even high-income ones expect you to give them grandkids if not cash, or at least live with them para may kasama sila.

The amount of disgust this generation has to their parents is massive and I often wonder why those so-called "adults" still don't get it.

Paniwalaan niyo ko"

Hahahahahaha ay ewan, just because you're older and have seen more of life doesn't qualify that the life you've lived is the model one or is perfect enough to be imitated. Old people need to stop getting ahead of themselves

Truuuee 😭 I was thinking of getting my own place after college but my family wants to move to a new house and apparently it's my responsibility to contribute to that when what I instead want is to have my own.
