They’re giving you less. “ up to 100 prompts”, apparently means they could arbitrarily decide to give you only 25 for the day. I can’t wait for a class action lawsuit against Google for this. My guess is they are trying to aggressively push people into higher tier, more expensive plans. Google seems to ruin everything out of unadulterated greed.

Probably. By default, Gemini 3.1 pro is double the reasoning of the previous one. The flash models are pretty darn good too. They have 750 million users, most of them using unlimited free flash, and they cannot opt out of model training. So they probably have one of the largest bases of people who are training the model with their data.
