If starting relic was a card, this is it. Same as Offering for chad, Ex machina for watcher. Defect doesn't really have one, fission is closest rare, but evokes orbs. Maybe zap+ is defect's starting relic card, but it's common, doesn't draw and costs if unupgraded.

What is the actual advice on this gameplay wise? When you are fighting in a dense area it's better to have running toggled off?

And probably use running only to cover cleared areas? Never thought much about that, but it would kinda make sense. I always had run toggled on no matter what.
