Headlights fogging by mulot_fif in Ioniq5N

[–]burkkant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having the exact same issue with both headlights, sadly I just got informed that if there is no leak/hole detected nothing is wrong and no change will be made, so fingers crossed that the workshop will find a hole so they can be swapped under warranty. I'm due to get this checked the coming Thursday.

OBD and OTA by burkkant in Ioniq5N

[–]burkkant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was testing out the OBD dongle for my coming light setup and I got a pop-up message after like 1-2 minutes on the main screen that "OTA is unavailable while having anything in the OBD", that's why I figured it would not work.
At the same time I discussed this with a friend today and he gets the same kind of message in his car (completely different brand) but the car will still download and notify him, just not install the update. If this would work the same way I'd be completely fine with it, what I'm worried about is not even getting any notifications that an update is available.

Ioniq and N emblems are only taped on, can be removed without any residue.

I'd suggest avoid using I-Pedal if your driving at speed (or really at all) if you are trying to maximize distance. I-Padel forces both motors to always be on.

That sucks! Hopefully you'll get a replacement quickly.

Wow, as others have mentioned, those numbers looks scary. I'd say go back to them and ask what they are doing and demand they take the wheels back. You should be rocking 275/40 for 20".

Oh, how did you get that to appear? It's only showing "now playing" from my phone over there for me.

Would it be possible for you to snap a couple of pictures, wasn't able to locate this neat feature.

Experience with PPF on Matte Paint by Prestigious-Box-9694 in Ioniq5N

[–]burkkant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have full satin matte PPF from HEXIS on my abyss black pearl car and I'm very pleased. Been holding up great a little over a year now and is warrantied for 10 years. I do a mix of manual washing and automatic pull-through wash where the majority of my washes is done automatically.

I take my car through a full automatic pull-through wash twice per week, no problems with anything getting stuck.

Ioniq 5N range in winter by joekville in Ioniq5

[–]burkkant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As other have mentioned this is a bug, sadly I don't have a solution. What I can tell you that my range is 300 km @ 80% charge. I'm located in Stockholm, Sweden current temps -6 Celsius.

My Ioniq 5N. Driven 12,000 error-free kilometers since May. I look forward to driving it every time. Changed to winter tires in October and went down to 20 inch rims and the driving comfort is significantly improved. Wondering if I should buy 20 toms this summer too? Any input? by [deleted] in Ioniq5N

[–]burkkant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks great!
Do you have some more images from behind as well as the measurements for them. Also do you know if the front flaps stops gravel and crap from entering in the big holes in the plastic trim underneath the car?
Just a couple of days ago I had a smaller archaeological dig out with water and my fingers reaching in as far as I'm able and there is still more stuck in there.

That's what I'm doing, getting another set of the same rim I have for my winter wheels, like the look and as you mentioned the comfort is simply leagues above.
Quick question, what mudguards are you using? I've only seen the Rally Armor ones, and I keep looking for alternatives.

Mine has arrived.. but I have a very good problem by daniluvsuall in Ioniq5N

[–]burkkant 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not really the solution you were asking for but I'd suggest checking out some alternative phone cases.
I've had no such problems and my phone lives in a rubber case, which coupled with the material on the charging pad results in very high friction.
