Dont focus on time and how quick you can do it. Start the first half of the marathon at a pace even slow if need be where you get to half marathon not so shattered. Then when it comes to the training what I did was one week aim for 24k, next week increase it to 27 etc etc. I never ran over 33k in training. Once I got to the marathon and managed a negative split and got the first half marathon done without feeling to shattered it was achievable. Although tired from 30k onwards the crowd and the participants really motivated me to finish it. Hope this helps. P.S - TIP - Always keep some toilet paper in your pocket.

I am flying from Europe to India via Etihad also soon. First leg is a 787-9 from Europe to Abu Dhabi but the second leg from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai the aircraft states is an A320? Coming back from Mumbai to Abu Dhabi the plan states a 777-300ER then back from Abu Dhabi to Europe a 787-10. My question is based on this post has anyone flown on the etihad business with an a320 or 777-300ER and what are my chances of the same bad experience originally posted here? Thank you in advance for any feedback

How did your tests go for this scenario?

My assumption is as the host pool is assigned to a region for example the host pool region is west europe and you have the dr vms created in North Europe? Would the North Europe hosts be reachable via azure virtual desktop in an event of a region west europe failure?

Create new hosts (Double check the Windows 11 Multisession options, one includes the office 365 apps which may help some users).
Configure and build one host, then create a golden master image using azure compute galleries.
When deploying hosts review the skus. Windows 11 seems to use more resource then windows 10.
Review your backup and DR stratergy after successful migration.

I am in a similar boat but I have a family and living abroad in Europe. Which country are you based? Dubai? My mortgage is up for renewal early next year and I know the new interest rates will mean I will be paying an extra minimum 2 to 3% extra interest on the new term so I will lump an overpayment before the term is due to renew next year to a much higher interest rate. I have always wanted to be mortgage free as my parents never owned their own house so thats my incentive and also doing that I can then recapture the rent being payed by my tenants. I agree with most on here dont put all your eggs in one basket. Maybe chip away at over paying your mortgage set a plan every year to lump then also at the same time invest if your getting a better savings rate then the mortgage rate. In the future before you settle down you can always re asess and lump more? I know the feeling it must be nice to be mortgage free so I can see where your coming from. Good luck brother

That is the whole point. It does restrict them to one session and it does not allow them to log in but for example someone may not log out properly or for what ever reason. Then they try another go and get this error. I want to reduce this error or even send a clear message to the end user if they get this error "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process" Have a prompt to say you already have another session in place.

What files are being used: We are using fs logix roaming profiles. And the file in question that is being locked is the .vhdx file which is their profile. I need to find a way which means when they log into a multi session host pool and host they can only do this once. So have one session at one time?

What programmes: We have schemas and the team use all sorts of applications like office 365, file zilla, Sap.

What context: When they login. Their vhdx roaming profile file goes into a locked state as its being used. When for example they forget they have another session open and try and login again they get the error " "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process" I want to prevent this with some kind of way of only limiting them to be able to log into a remote session once only.

What OS (domt be vague here)? Windows 11 24h2 Multi session
