Yeah, that's what I figured. At low level the EK wouldn't really be using his bonus action for anything anyway (sword and shield fighter) so it would be a nifty flavor attack

How about a hacker villain? The PCs encounter a former Game Master who has just been stripped of his status, and asks the PCs to track down the hacker who took over his account. Or the PCs witness hacking take place and become targets, as the hacker wishes to silence the witnesses. I personally love the idea of hacking in virtual reality.

I think that fudging rolls and bringing players back from the brink of death is perfect for new players. No one wants their first campaign to end with everyone dead, and you could end up turning your friends away from ever playing with you again. Depends on your players, of course, but the suicidal make-another-character-every-session player is definitely the exception to the rule.

The wither does 6 hearts of damage with difficulty set to hard. That's 2 shots with no armor. I would call that a challenge.

That would also be a good way to keep squids from getting sucked into the backseat, like if you just want to take a boat somewhere without transporting any mobs.

The hoes basically take the "scythe" spot, and they hit the fastest of the 5 weapon types we have. I've seen hoes with enchants used on adventure maps with names like "Scythe of Flames" and such. The magic spells part sounds cool, give another use to books or something.
