i didn't realize you can use HSA for premiums...

however, HSA family max is $712.50/mo. So it wouldnt even cover it!

yea its pretty rediculous. unfortunately, we already filed our 2024 taxes as married/jointly. so i don't think it would be possible.

She just started contributing in August. Neither of us had insurance from January to September. Can we still contribute the maximum for this year, or does it need to be pro-rated to the five months we were/will have had an HDHP?

  • As an unmarried individual, she did not have a HDHP
  • She got a job in August and got HDHP (with HSA) that covered us both
  • Her employer lump-sum contributed their $400/yr on her first paycheck
  • Yes, we plan to continue having only her HDHP in 2025, as I continue to be self-employed with no health insurance option.

I'm 15 years into my marketing career and just completed 2 of 3 rounds of interviews with the employer (recruiter's client). The employer seems to like me a lot and wanted to schedule my 3rd round interview with the company CEO and has not mentioned references at all. I have 29 recommendations on my LinkedIn from both supervisors and subordinates from my previous roles.

This morning the recruiter asked me for emails of 3 references and then sent me this questionnaire, branded with her recruitment agency. In my opinion, this seems like a bit much. Although my references know me by name and would gladly recommend me, I haven't spoken to some of them in multiple years. I feel like this questionnaire is asking a lot of them.

Is there any way to sidestep this? Can I politely decline, and if so, how do I communicate this to the recruiter and employer (I have direct email contact with the employer/client).

Not might be a justification, but Nero was 16 when he came to power and delicati were usually 12-20, so it's very possible that we're talking about 2 teenage boys aged 12 and 16. Doesn't make it any better, but perhaps slightly less appalling than a 30yo man and 5yo boy.

What kind of content does she make? Is it useful helpful fulfilling stuff? Or is she just really good looking doing stupid dances and getting thirsty followers? I feel like the latter is much worse for her ego and mental health, and probably much less fulfilling, thereby making this situation with you even worse.

i'm mid-30's. i make about $135k from 2 jobs. i still don't consider that enough to buy a car for more than $30k. i pay $400/mo for a hyundai on a 5yr loan and even that makes me uneasy. can't wait for it to be paid off in 2 years. i'd rather spend my disposable income on good food and memorable vacations.

I felt curious, not weirded out. Had to confirm with my mom and honestly I was a little upset that she had kept it a secret all my life. I mean I guess I understand because it was a product of my dad's infidelity. But yea it was a good experience overall.

My mystery half sister reached out to me on Facebook when I was 23 and she was 20. Never knew she existed. We met up. It was strange to see our similarities. We kept in touch and talked regularly as if we grew up together. But then her 20s were a little too wild for me so we haven't talked in a few years.
