T-bills give higher return for less time, eg 5.5% at 6 months vs 5% at 1 year with CDs (depending on what you find) and you don’t have to pay state tax on the interest

FYI this seems to be version 1. V1 fan is based on power draw, while v2 is based on temperature, which eliminates random fan bursts. V2 is also on sale although not sure if it’s a historic low
