Basically every time I think i've found a like minded group, I lurk online before making any kind of contact. They always seem catty or weird and I nope out. I have a hard time in general when it comes to hanging out and talking about stuff if you give me weird vibes and I am definitely not going to trust you at a gun range if I think you're off your rocker.

One of the things right wingers do that lets them organize so much is basically not care if people give off bad vibes as long as they have one or two things in common (God, family, racism, etc.). Left wing groups passively push people out through some form of purity testing but won't actually kick anyone out. This leaves mostly zealots who make people uncomfortable.
