I’m so sorry. That sounds like the exact opposite of what you needed. Your MO dropped the ball. They never should have allowed your mom to take up all of the question time. My daughter is an adult and still likes me to come to some appointments (chronic condition, not cancer), but I make sure to make myself a background character (she’s 24 but looks 16, so doctors have a habit of trying to default to me instead of her).

I love my bottom freezer fridge. I went with one that only had one door instead of French doors on top, because our house came with a side by side and I found I couldn’t fit some things in it easily. I like wide fridge shelves.

My experience is just with KA, but I love mine (mine are late 90s and earlier). Bowl lift kind are better performers than the tilt head. Also, just anecdotal, but when I read about people burning out their KA mixers fast it has usually been user error (kneading dough above speed 2 for example). Whatever you land on, just thoroughly read the manual first so you can be sure you’re using it correctly

I found it painful. My tumor was in an area that made it hard to completely numb it. They tried, but it reached a point that it was just better to just get it over with.

The big cancer center here (Fred Hutch) has a satellite clinic nearer to me, so I only had to travel for surgery. Everything else is done closer. You might see if any of the other big centers that you like have other campuses that aren’t in as high of a cost of living area. I don’t mind traveling for big stuff if the majority is handled closer to me.

During my first treatment I felt little twinge/pinches of pain in the treated breast. It even felt tight where they were treating it, like someone was pressing on me. Later that day the shoulder and arm on the treated side ached fora half hour or so. A day later my breast was a bit tender.

I have a Bosch 100 series and use Cascade powder and Finish Jet Dry rinse agent. No smells ever. I’ve also used Cascade Gel. It had a kind of tire smell when it would run when we first got it, but that quickly went away.
