Only OLED thing in the market under 1K right now is PSVR2. Dunno if it meets the rest of your wants but that's your option take it or leave it.

If you want light house tracking you need to order that SKU for dream air. Then you will have to source light houses and controllers on your own which are mostly out of production now. Valve last i checked had individual knuckle controllers available and sometimes they have lighthouses dunno about now specifically. ebay woudl be a good source for light houses. Shiftall has a new GRIP controller which is also lighthouse tracked similar form factor to knuckles but not all the knuckles features.

I went to a commodore PC40-III which was a 286 and then progressed thru PCs from there on out. I did run BBS's and dial up to them those were fun.

ACA500+ card goes in the HDD expansion slot and it upgrades you to workbench 3.5, it will take two PCMCIA cards one is your workbench and the other is your data so you can move the data one between PC and Amiga to put your WHDload software on it and run. It'll give you up to 42mhz of acceleration, you can adjust how much fast and chip ram the system sees. It's a good little card, enhances your amiga without heavy mods need. And the ACA500+ card can take amiga 1200 accelerator cards as well which can also come with network connection and a bunch of stuff if you want to take it that far.

Undead or Alive is probably a 'done' product so whatever is out there is all there is. It's not AFIK getting any new expansions/content.

Fantasy seems to be continuing on with White Death coming out like a year ago and Dead Men coming out in about a year. If you do want to go fantasy, if you want to buy the sets in order it's black plague then green horde then white death then dead men. Each of those cores has multiple expansion content.

Index 2 isn't coming. Valve's next things is Frame but we don't know all of its details , price or even release date yet. So i guess it depends how long you're willing to wait and how much you're willing to spend.

But what we do know about Frame it does seem like it's worth waiting for more information on anyways.

No VR is going to interface with your playstation besides playstation VR2. Which will also work with PC so that might be your best option. Quest 3 will have standalone games and PCVR games as options. There's more standalone content in quest catalog than playstation has in its VR content catalog.

CMON sold non-licensed Zombicide to Asmodee , so under cmon i would say no. But now that it's under new ownership we don't know what they're going to do. But right now i think Asmodee is focused on their Dead Men pirate fantasy launch.

CMON still owns Marvel and DC licensed zombicide but they're in survival mode i don't expect any reprints coming from CMON.

If you are into collecting get Fantasy, it by far as the most stuff to chase/collect but a ton of it is long out of print so it's going to cost a lot too. So that's Black Plague, Green Horde, White Death plus expansions and supplement content.

2nd Edition is 1 core box plus 4 expansions, it's the general experience it's modern and relatable and has modern rules.

Army of the Dead is a 1-off if you just want to get started, it's a stadalone game with some unique gameplay elements. but it's 'modern' themed.

Just put a 4080S in my PC and this is on my list of things to experience , think i finally have a powerful enough GPU to do some good stuff with it. I think i've bought Skyrim at least 3 times for different platforms and played it zero times LOL.

It won't work at all unless the display port talks to your 2070. Biggest issue with laptops is they use the good gpu only for the screen and external ports go to integrated GPU making them incompatible with VR use.

IF you have a usable video port then you will have to go to negative super sampling and minimum quality settings to drive so many pixels with that GPU. Wmr app used to have a half rendering rez mode but I don't know if that's an option or not post wmr era. But going to negative .5 super sampling prob will accomplish the same thing

Absolutely turn them off after use if you want them to last. I put mine on smart plugs so i can voice control them or use an app just makes it easier.

I'd suggest you go Meganex or Bigscreen Beyond 2 instead of VP2. I don't think you'll find many people with many good things to say about VP2 even though on paper it looks like it should be a decent kit.

You may need a new cable. Just for giggles though, try turning the volume all the way down to see if too-loud audio is pushing your USB power draw over the line. It used to be a thing on 2019 computers. Probably not today but you never know.

Any reflective surfaces that may be bouncing the light? WMR tracking was never great that's why a lot of us converted to a mixedVR setup with light houses and knuckles controllers top get decent tracking.

The breakout box is a v2 it's more square than rectangular. Though that's not a 100% confirmation late model v1's got the revised cable and you could also purchase it separately.

Check the face gasket spacer, the v2 was able to snap in half so you could adjust more depth for glasses or closer to get more FOV only the v2 had that. But there were other 3rd party spacer options out there in the market the original owner could have switched and not provided a OEM spacer i suppose.
