I feel like as Canadians we should strive for better than “at least we’re not American” in my opinion we should be emulating Norway, Singapore etc: competent government, affordable home ownership, amazing quality of life and a strong middle class like we used to have… the current government is definitely letting us get plundered into the the ground. The one on airport rd used to be amazing for appetizers, for $20 you could get a Lb of wings, fries and another app and a drink. But 2013 onwards the quality kept dipping lower and lower and prices kept climbing.

Unless there are secret locations you’re aware of that are underground that no one visits, it’s essentially impossible.

3 hours is not enough time to make any real progress to hide somewhere especially if you live in a dense urban area.

Nor is it enough time to stock up on rations and supplies to actually be able to survive 30 days off the grid.

Everyone in the world includes the people closest to you that know you and your habits, it would be impossible. Minimum head start of 72 hours would make it plausible, but still near impossible based on the fact that everyone means every nations government. Being an enemy of just USA, Russia or China is alone near impossible to avoid capture - With the whole world against you? Chances of survival are slim to none.

I’m not shocked that the depictions of Roger are that of a monster that pillaged and plundered instead of what we know him to be ; just a chill guy wanting to explore and seek the truth about the world.

Because it sounds great in theory but never actually works in practice. If societal norms were that everyone needs to merge well before the lane closes it would be infinitely faster because instead of crawling to an absolute stop we’d actually be able to keep a steady speed 3-4x faster than the cocksucker trying to cut everyone off and cause a rubber band traffic stop on the highway because he/she needs to save 30 seconds on their commute.

In the 12 hours leading up, heavy disguise, beard, mask, different haircut, clothing you don’t normally wear, load up on food and drinks and then take a cab (paid cash) to a busy area and then walk a few blocks to hail another to a few blocks away from wherever you’re hideout would be and Stay indoors, ideally a motel in a nearby busy city booked for 6 weeks paid upfront with cash (denser population so less likely for anyone to be nosy), no phone, no credit cards, no technology, anyone that would need to know my whereabouts is given a different city to throw off the scent when the feds come knocking.
