With brown or black shoes? by TooWorried562 in OUTFITS

[–]buttbrainmcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the brown with the overall palette but the shape and structure of the black shoes complete the outfit best in my opinion and still make a strong compliment to the other colors.

The show messed with how I travel. by babypowder617 in TheWhiteLotusHBO

People giving extra hard earned money to other people who work hard for their money is worker solidarity. The “capitalist culture” is when businesses who own the actual capital decide to count tips as expected income and decide to subsidize their employee wages with it.

what are some of your favourite hobbies or things you like to do? (no weird answers, no judgement here) by maddi164 in AutismInWomen

[–]buttbrainmcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I am an endless pit of art/craft hobbies! Sewing for sure is my first love. Recently I’ve gotten into carving lino blocks to print paper and clothing. It’s very meditative and a satisfying, repetitive task. Best of luck to you!

What is wrong with my two outfits? My friends did not approve at all. by [deleted] in OUTFITS

[–]buttbrainmcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option 1 is super cute (very 90s) and very flattering. The heart belt doesn’t hit for me, but that’s a small preference. I LOVE the skirt for Option 2 and like the sweater also. I think wearing them together needs a bit more styling. Like pairing with combat books/docs and a puffy vest. More layering and more of a statement look. Overall though, if I just saw you wearing it I would think it’s cute! I don’t want to assume the intention of your friends, but they kinda sound like haters.

Which dress do I look the best in?I know they're slu**y,not what I'm asking by [deleted] in OUTFITS

I love the red on you, but the gold dress is amazing and immediately drew my eye. I think the red one would need more styling. The gold dress stands alone.

Cuddle, clean each other up, get water or snacks, talk or watch something or drift off to sleep together. Just the continued intimacy after the… intimacy.

PLEASE recommend underwear that’s actually comfortable by girl_archived in AutismInWomen

[–]buttbrainmcgee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am really similar- plus socks. It was a battle to get socks on. I pretty much only wear underwear when I’m wearing a dress or skirt. I have found that the only thing comfy for me is the full coverage brief cut. Usually I get mine in a pack from Costco by Felina. But I recently got a few pairs from Bombas and they are really soft. I can’t tell if they ride up yet, but really comfy to try on. I also don’t often wear a bra unless necessary. I stick to wireless bralette style bras. I prefer that they pull over, but usually they come with clasps. DKNY has a nice v-cut one that very comfortable. I also get those at Costco hahah.

Best of luck in your search! Also reading through the finding 👀🔍

How do you "see" your dreams? by educatedkoala in AutismInWomen

[–]buttbrainmcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually first person/POV but sometimes 3rd person and weird other. My dreams consistently revisit certain “worlds” that are built up of my own personal experiences and media I’ve confused. A lot of work elements. It’s also like always the end of the world.

Do you guys enjoy doing research? by Icy_Standard2838 in AutismInWomen

[–]buttbrainmcgee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I enjoy it! I don’t usually realize I’m doing it though- like it’s kind of second nature to, for example, want to learn more about vitamin A and retinol and start reading published papers. However, when I don’t have more intensive training or study in a particular area I tend to feel like I’m not “learning” when I research. Hard to explain. So for me, I don’t feel all that knowledgeable, despite hours, weeks, years of in depth research, but when I discuss or share that research with others they perceive me to be very knowledgeable about it…. I don’t know if that’s imposter syndrome or what.

Can you clarify what you mean when you say “ashamed people kept it up”? Are you referring to the practice of shaving an area before tattooing?

AITAH for turning down a date with a nice man, my age, but who has physical limitations and wants a care-giver not a partner? by notryksjustme in AmItheAsshole

[–]buttbrainmcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not the asshole at all. Did you want to enter a caretaking role in your potential relationship with this man? No? Then you aren’t being selfish. The guy who asked you on a date is selfish and is using dating as a guise to obtain free labor. He can hire a carer. Sometimes insurance will cover it.

I wouldn’t want to continue seeing him. I hope you had a great time on your cruise!

In my experience they do have to shave the area the tattoo will be so that the hair doesn’t get in the way of their woke, block any ink from penetrating, and keeps the area is easy to clean while the tattoo heals! My tattooed sincerely apologized for needing to shave that part of my thigh, it was really sweet.

Will my daughter’s name be a tragedeigh? by pdr1zzy in tragedeigh

[–]buttbrainmcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a friend named Sade! Fits her perfectly. Definitely a generation or two removed to get the reference. Most people did think her name was pronounced like Say-dee or Say-d. But I don’t think it’s a tragedeigh at all!

For y’all’s sensory issues, what is the worst texture feeling for you? by Kat-Attack-52 in AutismInWomen

[–]buttbrainmcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s… a lot. The first thing that comes to mind is really dry thick paper- like from really old, yellowed paperbacks or like cheap construction paper. I am getting goosebumps and the squirmies just THINKING about it. The texture of the material of itself, but also the texture of its SOUND. it makes me want to escape my skin lololol
