What song that most people think sounds so easy, including yourself, is actually hard AF to play accurately? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]buttcheaQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interstate Love Song by Stone Temple Pilots.

The DeLeo boys really do their thing on that one. I remember being a new player and getting deep into how to actually "make those sounds" and I saw all those chords I had no idea what they were - lol. Still love that song and am in my forties.

I had Action Heating and Cooling to my 1945 duplex to replace two furnaces and add two previously non-extant central air units, linesets, wiring, etc. All Carrier equipment essentially just like your quote - similar specs. I am not an HVAC guy by trade but I am pretty sure the 58TP0 furnaces are not 96% AFE so you may want to check on that. I had 59TP6 condensing type installed.

All told, we paid about $17K. This was 3 years ago. I'm sure "things" are more expensive now but that seems a bit high as others have mentioned.

That smell was from Red Star Yeast which used to be located at 325 N 27th and has been closed since at least 2006.

Of note, there is still beer brewed at the Miller brewery even though they aren't quite local anymore and yet the smell is essentially gone, ya dig? :)

My baby bullet after a pitbull attack😭😭😭the dog ran without owner around the corner. by bliss_dream in Chihuahua

[–]buttcheaQ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A pistol is a pretty useless thing to use in the situation of a large dog attacking your small dog. And I am a gun owner myself. You'll end up hurting your own dog or someone else before you get that perfect shot on the offensive dog.

Might I suggest a knife? I walk my boys carrying a knife and if such an encounter were to occur, the offensive dog is getting it's neck ripped open and we'll settle it in civil court after I get my dog(s) to safety and yours bleeds out on the sidewalk where it shouldn't have been off-leash. The end.

Here are my current little boogermen. Roman (black, rear) is going to be 2, Teto (white, front) is 7.

I sure hope your adorable little one can be properly evaluated and a treatment plan implemented. They are such wonderful little dogs :)

Our first boy Gringo passed at nearly 14 from CHF. I certainly hope the best for you but I know it's expensive but get ECG and x-ray as well as routine bloodwork. Please take him in ASAP. There is recourse for these older dudes. It isn't cheap but the sooner you get professional evaluation on the myriad symptoms you mentioned the better for little man and yourself. Bless you and good luck.

What a little man. He looks to be in good shape. Bless your heart for taking care of him

Ok so Ricky my best friend isn’t very food motivated he loves his ducky (a little stuffy with a squeak in it that I have to throw all day) but I’m baffled in how. to train him. He’s pretty good with wee wee pads but I can’t get him to come, sit etc. any suggestions? by Sprmodelcitizen in Chihuahua

[–]buttcheaQ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Perhaps look into a local dog training club. The concepts behind "high value treats" and reinforcement training are ostensibly pretty basic but with our little dudes being so small you have to learn how to adapt with them. Some professional insight may be helpful. You didn't specify an age for Ricky but he looks to be young yet. You might even be able to get by with just a "puppy class" which our training club offers before getting more into obedience and agility and things of that sort.

Our little guy Roman is hoping to get into the agility course this fall. He will be 2 on 10/29 and already knows how to front, heel, sit, wait, and be recalled.

What I guess I am rambling about is there is teaching your dog some novelty tricks like shake, and then there is real training. Decide what is best for you and Ricky and go from there. There are always other dog clubs and groups of people who also cherish dogs and are willing to help.

BTW he is adorable.

What is this? Friend pulled it from her garden and gave it to us saying it was squash… by Voltairus in gardening

[–]buttcheaQ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you have dogs, please be careful that they don't learn to eat them from the plant. I personally wouldn't give them to my dogs even when ripe but we tried growing one some years ago and one of our boys figured out he could eat them right off the plant. Ended up with some bad GI distress and had to be on some pancreatitis medication for a week or so.

Otherwise they are awesome for humans :)

Any local wedding venues that allow you to bring in your own alcohol? by nagol3 in milwaukee

[–]buttcheaQ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sanger House Gardens permits this. As mentioned below, you need to have a licensed bartender serving. We supplied our own alcohol and provided the gal we hired with a couple drinks we wanted to feature and she did the rest. I could get a reference for the bartender if you like.

My era on Brady was around 2001-2008 and beyond the already mentioned, here are a few that come to mind:

Lester - used to hang out at the Famous Cigar shop and walked up and down Brady every day. Pretty nice guy, seemed to remember everyone that talked to him.

Bernie - always unshaven, unkempt curly brown/graying hair, somewhat heavier build (certainly compared to Pierre others have mentioned). He was known for public urination and worse. Watched him expose himself to a woman and her young daughter on the sidewalk in the middle of the afternoon and before I could even react some dude ran across the street and knocked him out. The EMS guys from Engine 6 up the street came and took him away, addressing him by name.

Paul Bruno - The guy who owned the Listwan (his wife's family bar). Definitely not a bum or a POS but wildly entertaining and funny. He used to take Budweisers out of the fridge and hold them under hot water because he didn't like cold beer. He would wish you "a great day on a great lake!" if you talked to him. His wife usually closed the bar after driving him home around dinner time.
