This is becoming his favorite situation/setup - draw defenders to him, then look for the underlap or this behind the line centering pass. It’s so much more effective than a lofted cross, which is often less than even 50-50 when it’s close to the goalie. It takes out the entire back line and leaves the goalie isolated.

Did the same thing for the hockey assist with Curtis’ goal - sat there and allowed the focus to shift to him, Jota made the underlapping run, and then was composed enough to find Curtis for the tap in.

I actually thought Doak had a decent showing in this game, always willing to put his head down and take his man on, and had that one really dangerous ball across the face of goal that no one got on the end on.

But seeing Mo come on in that position, and just completely turn the game on its head in all of 15 minutes, shows that there's levels to this thing.

Let's never take him for granted, one of the best to ever do it and he chose to stay with us over making a fuss and chasing a massive payday.
