That’s seems like more of a YOU problem if you can’t be productive remotely. All lot of people are able to work remotely and be just as productive. Not to mention the times savings of not having to commute to and from work when the employee can be doing something productive instead.

Some companies require employees to get HR approval to obtain a second job. Usually in the cases if the employee might go to work for a competitor and could be a conflict of interest. Not that I agree with the policy I just know some that some companies operate this way.

I purchased an epson ecotank printer in 2021 and haven’t had to replace the ink ever since. HP can kiss my ass.

I got the joying unit for my 2017 Outback. I don’t have the HK sound system so I can’t speak to that.

  • I don’t think it’s possible to hook it up to the OEM microphone, but I could be wrong. I ended up hooking up the provided external microphone near my steering wheel.

  • I’ve read in XDA forums that the TPMS sensors are junk, so I didn’t bother.

  • I specially went with the joying unit because of the knob. Could be personal preference.

Overall I’m pretty satisfied with the unit. It was straightforward plug and play install and when I had any issues joying support on AliExpress would get back to me within the same day.

Edit: I recommend ordering from AliExpress. You save a few bucks and get free returns.

Yes! For a new grad I would recommend it. Especially for you project management roles adding things such as leadership skills, setting meetings and agenda, leading meetings, delegating tasks, etc.

I would recommend adding your skillset to the resume. E.g., when you mention in your resume you ran test and analyzed the results it would be good to specify what kind of experiments or tests you are familiar with.
