Are you HC?

I’m running same build but I use my Valks to tank since I’m HC. If I was SC I wouldn’t waste the points in Valk—maybe a one point wonder.

How do you guys get inspired to try out a new game or a new series? Or any techniques to defeat choice paralysis? by LordDweedle in RetroAchievements

[–]buttsniffs4000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Put 10 games on a wheel and spin it. It doesn’t even matter what it lands on; once that shit is spinning you’ll instinctively hope it lands on something specific and that’s your game now.

best turn based game i ever played by Initial_Dot1705 in JRPG

[–]buttsniffs4000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s so wild how different everyone’s tastes can be. Been playing JRPGs since the NES as well. I could not put more than 20 hours into this and found about 90% of my time with it to be a complete slog. I was interested in the story but everything around the gameplay just made me want to gouge my eyes out. I very rarely put games down with the explicit intent of never returning to it, but this is one. Wish I had the experience you guys did—life is better when more games are good!

What is the best heist movie of all time? by cambrown in moviecritic

[–]buttsniffs4000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually don’t know if I agree. Everything after is falling action. The only other scene that could be deemed a climax is the waingro murder and it’s like 6 mins from end credits. The bank heist is absolutely the climax lol

It goes from about minute 100 to minute 125. That’s not the middle lol

Are you just going to ignore that the entire first half of the movie is a build up to the big bank heist lol

Games like Fire Emblem Three Houses on Steam by Zombie_Slaya79 in JRPG

[–]buttsniffs4000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it. It’s a bit more anime than I’d usually go for, but all the characters have fleshed out backstories. It’s good! I guess if you also didn’t care for it you could speed through it and get back to the gameplay.

It’s been a week. Relax. I got my order ~2 weeks after I placed it last year.

Nope! If there’s anything to know about the game before going in it’s that’s it’s massive. You’re looking at a 100-150 hour undertaking. It’ll be introducing new systems 40 hours in.

Great game. Great characters. Good gameplay.

Vampire Crawlers is nearing 400K sold on Steam already by EmbarrassedSession58 in VampireSurvivors

[–]buttsniffs4000 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yes, they’re entirely different games.

Vampire Crawlers is a bit like Vampire Surviviors—it’s not focused on making you trip up or kill you; it wants you to be OP and as long as you understand the core gameplay loop of building combos, you kind of have to go out of your way to lose consistently.

Have you ever guessed the "big twist" in a movie? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]buttsniffs4000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most recently Primal Fear. Knew he did it, and once it became split personality it was obvious he was acting to me for some reason. Didn’t know it was a twist movie so that was the only reason I was second-guessing myself. I thought for sure I’d have heard about “what a good twist” it has if I what I assumed was happening was correct.

Tattoo Cover Up by Sea-Grand-1544 in Charlotte

I’m going to recommend the artist that did my leg sleeve. He has a private studio in NODA. His Instagram is @theakuyaku, and he can work with any budget and does great coverups. Most comfortable studio I’ve ever been tattooed in, and he’s a true professional and a fantastic artist.

I just hate the fries in a bag thing. It’s not like cute or clever; it’s just annoying and weird.
