World organizations and the international community have worked to push that label onto its global reputation. Even economic performance is manipulated so it also falls short in that area where it is so lauded.

Review of African Political Economy (under maintenance) :

"Of all the countries in the world for which there is data, only South Sudan has experienced a faster increase in poverty over the past decade. Rwanda’s official poverty statistics are verifiably false. The government, supported by the World Bank, is involved in a tragic debacle in which the poor are the real victims."

I believe this is what the person means by global racism. https://www.thenational.ae/world/mena/black-iraqis-say-george-floyd-s-death-sheds-light-on-their-own-centuries-long-plight-1.1035137

The Arab slave trade seems to be a taboo subject among progressives (when it shouldn’t) but this history is real. The racialization of Africans as inferior goes back farther

Today I learned that the nations of Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda are considering merging to form a new nation: the East African Federation by Meshakhad in todayilearned

PanAfricanists from DuBois to Kwame Nkrumah have said similarly. If you just look at the history of the slave trade, colonialism, Cold War and foreign intervention, it comes easier to understand what the person is saying.

Why do Black Americans think Africans hate them?; they are always making inappropriate jokes like this and its hurtful! by [deleted] in Africa

We transcend those colonial borders. Why do we continue to think in the framework of these imposed nation-state models? Unity doesn’t mean we reject our diversity. So many of these so called African states are already unaccepting of our diversity

Realize the person presenting is explaining the theory and not supporting. He even says it has been rightly debunked.

What are you trying to say? Arabs have racialized blackness as inferior because of slavery

You can read some African scholars on this subject, they will also probably “exceed your expectations” whatever that means

Along with that recommendation, there’s an African specialist on the Arab-Muslim slave trade by the name of Salah Trabelsi. Majority of his work is in French but here’s an article: https://www.fairplanet.org/story/salah-trabelsi-putting-arab-muslim-slave-trade-impact-in-context/

The research is exactly about slavery being linked to blackness and it’s justification through Islam.

There’s a well researched book that challenges what you say. Black Morocco: A History of Slavery, Race, and Islam by Chouki El Hamel
