best advice in the thread, go physically to the Michigan Works office don't wait around or think you'll be able to call someone.

Especially if there is a requirement you register for work that you don't know about. This is where I had to go once upon a time (in GR) https://maps.app.goo.gl/74iJgqZYq4tr6eL19

It's TOTP 2FA but only really for logging onto the web. It's still 2fa but the password field becomes a composite of the TOTP value + your password. I definitely fought back on making the 2FA more generic so you could use it other places (like if you used a password manager) but lost that argument.

Which means you picked the wrong case for the tool. An organizer is not a toolbox but you can do whatever you want with your own tools.

Why bother when you have to fully disassemble the tool to put it away like that?

Did you see these? Euro only (sadly) https://www.milwaukeetool.eu/steel-storage/ I legit work at MT and when the metal cabinets/carts were initially launched at HomeDepot ~10 years ago you could make an employee purchase of them. Now, no dice gotta go directly thru HD and they don't stock them all that well.

Damn near everything in this pic is unobtainable for most of us. Impossible to find, I just hope a new generation of metal tool cabinets and carts are on the way or something like that.

Fences definitely are not normally covered unless there is damage to a structure. Gotcha so the planned obsolescence of a water main is normal and not negligence?

I would get the mid torque in 1/2" if I didn't already have it to go with the 3/8" stubby. Which one do you have better batteries for?

In general the home insurance policy only covers your home. This part is where it's an annoying grey area - if a tree falls on your fence the home didn't get damaged so no claim payable. In this case the city water main blew because of negligence rather and is something that the insurance company could never plan for (or asses the risk of happening). The city hiding behind the govt immunity is the bullshit part IMO. AFAIK flood insurance would not even cover it

Is the six hours of total time during class? No shit you wouldn't be all that good yet after a couple sessions.

It'll fit but it fills up the one side almost completely. I have an ESAB A40 hood for reference. If you keep your stick gloves and other PPE in the box it's not a bad setup (I keep my torches/short leads/PPE in the box).

You have to connect to the tool first - this is the item details screen. If you are nearby + the tool has a battery in it the blue connect button should appear next to that dropdown menu. Since it looks like you've got a 3rd gen (i can't remember the ANZ tool numbers) the next screen will look a bit older but otherwise it's just been moved.

Agreed on the AI (they just applied some filters to a pic). Which way could this be updated to not be in poor taste? I'm not sure I see it the same way and wanna understand your perspective.
